I found it particularly interesting, especially after reading all of the recently posted interviews in which Jonathan Frid talks about some of the Shakespearean characters, the scene that ended Wednesday and began Thursday where Barnabas tries to get Ben to agree to stake him, and his reaction to the word "yes" - it seemed like it could have been from a Shakespearean drama.

My aunt thought she called him Joe, too, but I believe she said, "Don't joke."

I was thinking of starting a topic on the "clean-up" job.  The second time wasn't as bad, he just had some blood dripping from his mouth.  But, that first time it was all over his shirt, face and probably more.  How on earth (not earth, I suppose) did he come out the next night all cleaned up!!!

Back to the costumes - as I mentioned the other day, it seemed Grayson almost always got the worst.  I wonder if you have something there about the approval, because Joan's generally WERE amongst the best.  And, Nancy's hair is always amazing.  Maybe she just had wonderful hair, but in every part it always looked gorgeous.  I particularly enjoyed some of her styles as Letitia and Melanie towards the end of the show.

Thank you, Birdie and Cassandra!  I just went back and looked for him again - and sure enough - there he was!  I can't get over how sharp-eyed all of you are, though, to see these things!!

I think he might have been better off just crouching there.  Unless the camera was going to move to where he'd really be in the shot, the little bit of blue showing wouldn't have been as noticeable if he hadn't moved away.

I'll just make this a generalized thank you for all of these instead of repeating it each time - so, this is for this one and the Karlen one (and, any new ones that come along!!!)

I listened to their promo more closely today and they definitely said it started at 11.  I couldn't believe it!  Are we just lucky that it worked out that way or did they deliberately "spare" us?!!!! ;D

All right, where's the stagehand?!!!  I didn't remember seeing anything like that, so I made sure not to tape over it and to check it out again.  I assume you must be talking about some part of the scene between Angelique and Barnabas between his "revival" in the coffin and her death.  I went back through that part and still couldn't find a stagehand!

Another thank you!  This one was especially fun with the interaction between the two of them.  I kept trying to picture it.

You might have to remember a bit longer than that.  I noticed them advertising a chain reaction of Forever Knight for Monday, today, so I'm guessing that DS won't be on.  I haven't checked the schedule yet.

Thank you, Luiciaphil and Minja!!  It's a shame I can't imagine the tune, but it does sound rather cute!  And it certainly explains a lot here!! 8)

I always thought Buffy would be a show I'd like, but I never got around to watching it, and I generally don't like jumping into things in the middle when I don't really know who's who or what's what!  I have enough television to keep up with as it is, so I've always passed over it. :)

As to the costumes, I loved Josette's dress.  But, I was wondering, what happened to the black?  Presumably she's still officially in mourning for Jeremiah.  And now Barnabas is dead for just 1 or 2 days, and there she is in beautiful color once more.

And, as to the Countess, I think this is another example of what I always say, that Grayson seems to get the worst clothes of anyone.  To me the rust color is rather depressing and they seem to give her characters that sort of color quite often.  Presumably she's of a similar age to Naomi, but the latter gets gorgeous gowns to wear!

I loved Angelique's death scene.  I hadn't recalled how well she did it.  Her body really did go limp and just slither down to the floor.  And then, those eyes!!  Sensational!

It really is amazing how everything conspires against Vicki.  Naturally he has to lie to protect not only Vicki, but himself for letting her out.  Presumably he can safely get rid of the book.  But, immediately Trask twists it around and now has "proof" that she was in 2 places at once!!!  Obviously Vicki doesn't help herself, but everything else "gangs up" on her, too.

Thank you!  I think I remember hearing of that.

Anyone care to go into more detail and give the words or explain what it means?
