Hi BluePhoenix!  I wouldn't call her a favorite character, although I do like her.  Way back on the SciFi boards, when I needed to choose a name, I was trying to think of a character who wasn't already taken, and I felt I identified with Josette more than anyone else who came to mind!

Current Talk '02 I / Vicki and Daniel

We know that both Daniel and Sarah liked Vicki and were upset when she had to leave them.  It was so nice when he found her.  She looked at him in the sweetest way and of course he wouldn't betray her.  I found it a quite touching scene.

Current Talk '02 I / Change in Nathan and Funny Line
« on: April 24, 2002, 10:03:19 AM »
What I don't understand is the change in Nathan.  Even Daniel commented that he even sounds different.  I can understand his present decision to kill him once he learned of the adoption plan.  But, until then, why was he being so mean?  He's married to Millicent.  She even conveniently became insane on her own.  I would think he'd maintain his good guy image.

By the way, my aunt has been asking why he's still in uniform.  He resigned his commission.

I found a very funny line today.  Daniel escapes from Noah and runs into the woods and Noah calls out after him, "Daniel, come back!"

Calling any David Henesy character David is extremely common.  When I noticed it today, I was thinking of starting a count on that like the Roger Davis hair touch count.  I'm not sure if anyone did it before today, but it's the first I specifically recall this time around.

I can't remember the details of this one well enough to really state it, but I can describe it sufficiently, I'm sure, for someone to recognize it and fill in the blanks.

SPOILER for the story coming up fairly soon with Dr. Lang

Barnabas is outside a locked door (I think he's with Dr. Lang and Julia is inside, but not sure) and he has to tell her to remember something.  I think it's Dr. Woodard's name he needs.  He says "remember, remember someone" or something like that.  Then Dr. Lang supplies him with the name he needs, except that it's something that he could have no way of knowing.

Vlad, my sympathies!  I know I would have been furious, too.  I wonder what kind of listing you were using.  If it's one of those grids (it seem local listings are often done that way these days), I've noticed that they have to put it at the closest half hour time, in this case 4:30, but usually within the listing they will put the actual start time in parenthesis.  It can certainly throw one off, but, especially after an incident like this, one learns to watch out for that!!  I hope that helps for any future events.

Who'd have thunk Angelique would be so powerful in death, able to turn a woman into ashes?  I felt so sorry for Joshua, who had such high hopes for this!

While feeling sorry for Joshua (and Barnabas), I particularly felt sorry for Bathia, who had warned him that it could mean her life and originally refused to do it.  She went ahead with Joshua's assurance that no one would disturb her concentration.  And then there had to be all of the coincidences with Melanie leading Naomi to go there at that moment.  Even Nathan had tried to talk her out of it.  It appeared to be working and then she had to show up!

I forgot from the last time, when they finally said her name, I always think of it in my mind as "BUH thee uh," but Joshua said "buh Thigh uh."

Patti, everything automatically updates.  You'll see that you're now listed here with 76.  Every post you've made will now list you with 76.  In the beginning I expected it to number each post, but then from mine and seeing others, I realized that it just keeps track of your current status and everywhere you're listed, it reflects the most recent. :)

Thank you!  I'll try it.

At the WordPerfect forum, sometimes they discuss logging in or out - but there must be some sort of default to stay logged in, because I never pay any attention to it.  Any time I come back, it recognizes me with my current settings.

Thank you both for the clarification!!  When I came in now, I noticed that the "bottom" one wasn't checked.  At first I was surprised and then I figured - oh, I bet MB saw my post and fixed it!

The fact that I came back that time and saw my name already listed, I assumed that by not logging out, I was listed as being there all the time.  I didn't like that idea, so that's why I've made a point of unchecking it.

Does that mean, that if I do check it, that any time I come back, I'll be automatically recognized, time settings and new posts, etc.  without having to log in?  That WOULD  be nice!

Actually, Robin should get credit for more - I've noticed several times when she's posted as a guest.

I had problems logging in today.  It said the website had been contacted, but nothing more happened.  Then, I stopped it and did "Home" again and it showed my name!  But, I was still listed as a guest and asked to log in.  There was no choice for "log out."  I finally closed out Explorer and started fresh.

Meanwhile, I tried clicking on "log in" at the top - and was surprised to find the "always logged in" unchecked and wondered if it was because of my change in the previous attempt.  I though MB had said he was changing it to "unchecked", but I always find it "checked" when I start.

I normally go down to the bottom of the screen where there is a log in form, instead of clicking on "log in" and that one always is checked when I arrive.
