I developed a deeper appreciation for Clarice Blackburn this time around, especially in the scenes with Craig Slocum, they're my fave scenes she did, and as others have stated she really does look like him! Too bad she didn't wear her natural red hair on the show.

It was a strange wedding, and it made no sense to me, I don't get it.  ?!?

Craig Slocum in "Is This Love?" (1957), an educational film shown in schools. To wed or not to wed - that is the question. Should Peggy and her boyfriend marry at the end of the semester? Or should they be old fashioned and wait like Andy (Craig Slocum) and Liz? Craig was 17 years old in the film, I love his scenes, especially the love scene! Sure looked like he was a good kisser. The woman who played his girlfriend looked old enough to be his Mom! Craig sure looked good 45 years ago, makes a young woman wish for older days!  :-*

Happy Birthday Shadowlady! It was nice meeting you at Jonathan Frid's show in Dalton, Georgia a year ago. His show was great too, I'm so glad I got to meet him.  :)

I think it is well worth the $7.00

The book is in my Dark Shadows collection. I remember Lara Parker reading part of the book at a Dark Shadows Festival, when it first came out. Yes, it's worth the $7.

In 1795, Nathan Forbes was going to use Noah Gifford as his scapegoat and frame him for being the Collinsport strangler, if he didn't agree to murder Daniel Collins.

Barnabas was the scapegoat for Harry after he got the blame for poisoning Joe's medicine.

I like Dana Elcar best in the role, nothing to do with his looks. I think he did the best job portraying the character.

I would say Harry's mood went from amber to grey after his Mom went back to Collinwood to call the police and he had to stop her, then she asked him a lot of serious questions, accused him of being involved, and lying to her.

Anne, I hope nothing serious is wrong, especially Diabetes. I will be praying for you. Thanks for the update. I just finished registering my daughter and I in the local Walk To Cure Diabetes here next month. I hope for the best concerning your blood test results.  :)

Harry Johnson looked suitably lower middle class in his obvious off-the-discount-rack ensemble.

Poor Harry.  He's just so hopelessly out of his league and (sorry Craig_Slocum), I say this regarding both the character and the actor.

What he was wearing looked good on him, I like the suit and tie look. The color scheme went well with his red hair too. I don't agree that he's hopelessly out of his league. Why do you think so? Please discuss your reasons.

Did barnabas have a room in 1795?

jennifer

I remember seeing him lying in a bedroom after Angelique tried to choke him to death using a wooden toy soldier, handkerchief, and a evil spell.
