I was surprised that no one mentioned this before, or maybe I just missed it, the last time she bite Barnabas it was very erotic.  I couldn't believe she licked his neck. Thought that was a bit risky for the 60th's.  It would have been interesting to have had under her spell longer and have him craving her.

She diffenately put a lot of passion into her work.

Wow, I don't know anyones Mom who did the toilet paper thing.  My mom was the first rebel she wore shorts and sweatshirts when everyone's else's still wore house dresses.  Can't imagine wearing a house dress.  I do remember rolling my hair in orange juice cans to try to straighten it. My mother  tried to convince my 13 year old daughter she should try to do the orange juice thing.  Let's just say on me it was not a pretty thing.

My dog Bridget comes trotting into the room when she hears the DS music.  She knows I will be sitting down and up on my lap she comes.  For a hour she can sit and have me pet her.  When I am at the computer she is sitting under the desk.

I don't know anyone who listened on the radio.  But I know it is possible.  At my first full time job in dare I say 1977, I worked in a bank.  In one of the rooms upstairs two of the book keepers use to listen to soaps on the radio while they were balancing their work.

I was in grade school during the first run of DS and would race home like so many other fans.  My mother held DS over my head to keep me in line.

My vote goes for Angie and the Barnster.  That would have been something.  Maybe not suitable for afternoon TV or the young viewers who were/are DS devoted fans

Great Photo's!  I think you did a wonderful job.  I would not have a clue on how to set up a web page.  It is beyond my pointy little head.  It brought back wonderful memories of last years fest.

Even if they didn't want to have a set built to be his bedroom they could have least made a reference to his going into another bedroom to lie down.  It was just plain silly for Julia and him  to say we are going down stairs and sit in a chair to get a few winks.  If that is the case spring for a recliner or better yet get a couch.

Birdie--it is almost time for me to hit the sack guess I will go find a chair

Can't say I have watched the whole thing.  Having someone else decorate any room in my house would scare me.  I cringe at reality TV.  I do enjoy Chistopher Lowell though.  He has great ideas, of course, we don't follow through on any of them.  We were daring and painted out family room a sage green.

Hey, we have bought three Dell computers.  Our first one is now my daughters for college.  My son bought one, last year we purchased a new one for us.  It has my husbands decision not the Dell boy.  It had to be work friendly for him.  The Dell kid doesn't bother me.  We get some really cheesy commercials during DS, a tattoo parlor and I really hate some of the Sci-fi promos.

Jeff wins for more annoying at least for me.

You have to remember we are the TV generations.  It is really kind of scary the stuff I remember from TV shows I watched as a child.  I wish I remembered  what I was taught in school as well.

I still have my Dark Shadows record album.  At one time I had the complete collection of the books but they were destroyed when our cellar flooded.
The thing I cherish most is the happy memories of growing up watching DS.  How we ran home from school to watch, walked to the corner store to buy the trading cards, and going to the movie.  It was a special time in my youth.
I have to thank my daughter for getting me rehooked about two years ago,  she was home sick and we just started getting sci-fi and I thought I would show her the TV show I loved so much.   I never dreamed I would enjoy it once again so very much.

Annie,
Keep your spirits up.  I will be thinking of you.  Smart girl to go and get it checked out.  Hope you feel like yourself again soon.

I have decided the rest of the Collins family must have thought they were having a torrid affair.  They seem to spend every waking moment of the day together.  I also wanted to see Julia  yell "YES!" when Vicki told her she  was back with the puke Jeff.  You would think Baranbas would be looking for a "little" after so many years.  O.K. it is way too early for those kind of thoughts.

Birdie-- who also loves Lanz
