How 40 years have flown by....i remember seeing this ep when i was 12 back in Feb of 67 and i was so rooting for Guthrie to down the phoenix, but alas...he was overmatched.....very scary was Laura to me way back then...almost like the wicked witch of the west was when i watched Wiz of Oz back then.

yes indeed, Liz Stoddard stood tall a proud...a real matriarch of the Collins.........until Barnabas showed up and then things went downhill....i thought she recovered the best she could after the phoenix debacle but after she gutted out Jason her character went from impressive and confident to paranoid and sad. 

of all the DS actors who attended this years fest...after looking at the great pix taken---my vote for the best taken care of body-face in all the years that have passed is a tie between KLS and Marie Wallace.....they certainly look well for wear...with LP a close second........my vote for one who has really let them self go and looks like they have been worn out over the years.....JK...

would pay a tidy sum for a maggie figure dressed in her diner garb.........

i hated the adam storyline because it was boring

I think Eve put it all in perspective when she said this to Blair about Adam

"He's Ugly, He's Boring, He's Stupid"..........but in all fairness as a kid of 13 watching Adam back in
the original airing on ABC, i looked up to Adam as a role model....the writers could of made him more
of a hero if they wanted....and the scenes with him and Carolyn made this teenager go ..."WHOO"...and Eve in that black gown....ohly chit.....better than any magazine i had hidden at the time in 1968
