I assumed it was the same one picked up by Beth and paid for by Quentin for his son that Barnabas dug up before his trip to the past.  I don't recall if that one was on a chain.  I assumed it was.  But, they needed some excuse for Carolyn to be buying something at the shop!! ;D

I don't know anything about webspace or how that would work, but as far as just connecting and using the Internet, I use Earthlink and have been satisfied.

Those of you who just watch the tapes won't have the slightest idea of what I'm talking about.

First all of the networks starting putting rather large and obvious names or logos in the corner of the screen throughout most programs.  Supposedly with the advent of cable and all the channels, they figured one couldn't necessarily tell what was on and they had to make sure one saw their name.

Recently, it's become a thing to advertise upcoming shows.  So, when one returns from a commercial, watching one show, there's a big name announcing the show that follows or something.  It gets quite annoying.

But, SciFi has really gone too far lately.  Their moving SciFi logos were bad enough.  Their upcoming show promos are much too large and stay on much too long.  But, recently they've added the promo for one show where they have about 4 moving white and red figures running around while the other show (in this case, DS) is playing.

I cannot see any justification for networks to mess up one show to advertise another, but this one with those moving figures is beyond tolerance.  I get SOOOO AGGRAVATED!!

"Until you know," says Beth, "that I forgive you." And she disappears. "Come back!" screams Quentin--"Don't you understand, I don't forgive myself--for what I did to you--for the part I played--please hear me!"  He covers his face with his hands and sinks into a chair.

Beth's asking Quentin to forgive her always brings tears to my eyes. So sad. She was the victim yet she's asking for his forgiveness? Even her ghost is a doormat, poor thing. Still, it was a very poignant, sad scene. I was also glad she threw a nibble of hope and fear into Trask.

I thought it was the other way around.  I didn't feel like going back and checking the tape, but even in the quote here from the show, it does have Beth telling Quentin that SHE forgives HIM and then he replies that he can't forgive himself.  She isn't asking him for forgiveness.

05/30: #960 & #961

If Sci-Fi runs true to form, that second episode is likely to be #963. Despite being alerted to the correct order repeatedly, they have yet to run the shows from #960 through #965 in any order other than:

...#960, #963, #964, #961, #962, #965...

:(

Does anyone think it would be worth it for a lot of us to write to them and remind them of this now, a little before the airdate.  Perhaps coming in time like that, they'll actually change it this time.

I didn't see the episode.  Did they show anyone ripping the phone out of the wall?  If not, what prevented the odeous Reverend Trask from calling the local Constable?

I don't recall if there's an explanation for why he can't do that, but wait for the follow-up to this and you'll see what does occur with the phone.  It's my favorite part!!

The domain addy still brings up the full page message that says, (Please don't be surprised by anything you might see or that might happen while you're there.

I've been meaning to ask about that for some time.  It seems that this latest version has been working for several weeks now (even if you are adjusting and improving things).  I can't figure out why we still need to go to that intermediary page before getting here all the time.

No; Grayson appeared in the episode Certain Shadows on the Wall, with Agnes Moorehead, Rachel Roberts, and Louis Hayward. The "earwig" episode, titled The Caterpillar, starred Laurence Harvey and Joanna Pettet.

I hadn't recalled ever seeing it, but as soon as I saw this title something came back to me.  There must have been a notice posted about this a previous time.  I can vaguely recall seeing them in the house and the shadows.  I don't recall exactly what the situation was, but apparently I did see it.

I apparently saw more than half of the first yesterday and finished that one tonight.  It seems to be getting better, the characters are rather interesting and are well portrayed.  The first review I read indicated that the second episode gets better, so I'm looking forward to seeing it.

How very weird!!  After reading these, I started paying attention to the time.  It seemed to be consistently an hour ahead.  After making a couple of posts, they were listed as being an hour later than they really were.

Then, when I returned to the Home Page, they were listed back at the correct time!  I returned to the Current Topics board and they were also at the correct time!  I looked up at the current time and it was now correct!!

I came here to comment on this and it was an hour fast again.  I rechecked the others, and everything was an hour ahead as it had been originally!!!!!!

P.S.  After posting this, it was back to the right time!

P.P.S.  I made a mistake and had to edit it again, so thought I'd mention that the 2nd time it was an hour ahead again!!!!
