Barnabus suffered the most of any character I think. He was locked in a coffin all those years. When he finally was released he had to seek out blood (as a vampire) to survive--and he was a tortured soul over it. He also suffered at the hands Dr. Lang who attempted to cure him.
Victoria Winters--I always liked that character with all the mystery surrounding her. Eventually the Maggie and Vicky characters became too much alike. Maggie lost the hard-edged waitress personality and became an ingenue like Vicky. Maybe this is why Vicky became a somewhat uninteresting character to some--always saying "I don't understand". Maybe the writers couldn't keep both characters interesting. Too bad--she was my favorite over Maggie.

This is the 1933 version with Katherine Hepburn as Jo March. Joan Bennett plays spoiled Amy March. I think this is the best version of "Little Women". Check this out if you want to see Joan Bennett in an early movie role. MM
Vam, in response to your question about my avatar -- no, I am not a big fan of ice skating. I looked through the avatars provided by this board and liked that one the best--just thought it was cute.
Raineypark, I've never posted on this board before--just enjoyed reading the posts. I don't really have an excuse--it just took me a while to make the decision.
Thanks for the welcome Raineypark. I have been lurking on this forum since January when I first got my computer. I finally decided to jump in. I love this board! Midnite and MB do a great job.
Finally on Monday we get back to 1968! It seems strange now to think of all the events that were going on in the real world during the 1st airing of DS. 1968 was a turbulent year. That year I was watching this as a 7th grader. It is still my favorite escapist enjoyment.
MM, who is just waiting for Willie to get out of Windcliff.
