Not really! :)  I would assume that a commercially produced product is tamper-proof, or at least done so that even the most expert person presumably couldn't "mess it up."

Luciaphil has a wonderful vignette with Elizabeth and Barnabas and a little twist on our PT experience.  Especially if you're familiar with the pre-Barnabas story of Jason McGuire and perhaps a bit from before that, it's a riot.

She's posted it on the SciFi Creative Board:

Out of curiosity, if these are the commercially produced tapes (since you said MPI, presumably they are), I can't imagine how you are able to insert anything in them.  :)

Welcome, Miranda!
However, based on Midnite's message, I hope you weren't really looking for macrame, and perhaps have no interest in this site!!!  :)

Current Talk '03 II / Rewarming the Corpse
« on: July 16, 2003, 08:22:15 AM »
I find it rather curious that the original corpse of Angelique, dead for six months, was revived and "rewarmed" by a slight touch from her sister.

However, now that this body is "living" again, when it has an attack of the cold, it seems to need to kiss and really suck the warmth from the other person in order revive again.

----

By the way, yesterday someone was speculating on what Angelique would have done if Daniel had been the next person to enter.  I started wondering what she would have done if it had been Quentin.  She clearly has other plans for him - at least at this point.

It's clearly not important - but it's really puzzling me at this point.  Once at the TV search sites, I did check out a couple of shows, but I don't think I looked up any sitcoms.

Presumably that is an intentional spelling of "Bat - stille" Day to be in keeping with the theme and all your bats.  ;D

A little while ago a pop-up asked me if I'd accept a cookie from a site - tvlinksonline.com (or something like that).  A few days ago Criseyde posted some links to TV search sites and I checked out a couple, so I'm guessing that was one.

It wasn't. Never heard of it before.

How funny!  I knew I had checked out a couple.  One, epquides, was one I had used in the past, but it had apparently disappeared, so when that was one you mentioned, I know I tried it.  I think I tried something else, too, and that name sounds so much like that sort of thing.  I still don't see where a cookie from another site would come from, anyway, but if it's not even something I went to, it's stranger still.

It happened again shortly after I posted the previous response.  Again it was tvlinksonline.com and this time it happened while I was looking at "Maggie Collins, as seen by Grandma Moses."  I have no idea what I was reading the first time - I'm wondering if the particular thread had some connection with it.

This time I told it to block all cookies from that site, so I assume I won't get it again to find out.

Well, other than the home page that comes up when I open IE (and I may have come here before it fully loaded - I think it's a Gateway site), this was the only thing I did in IE.  IF I went to the other site, it would have been a few days ago.  I know some sites have ads or other things that try to put cookies on, but I was amazed to see this other one pop up here.

Robin, that's funny - I assume you're working from the tapes - but if anything were cut, I imagine it would have been cut from the broadcast show, not the tape.

Anyway, what we saw was Angelique asking Quentin if he were all right, his picking up the letter opener and advancing towards her as she screams (just as it ended the previous day), and then turning and moving towards the portrait and slashing it.

Speed is back to normal today

I just checked our host's support furum (which also uses YaBB SE, BTW ;)) and as I suspected they have been working on their servers. Frankly, I don't understand how/why that would only seem to affect opening posts. But then, I don't know how they have their servers configured. However, if the problem turns into something that happens repeatedly, I'll certianly try to find out...

I had quite a slow down yesterday and the night before.  Today, it took quite a while to get to the main forum page, but once here, everything seems to be going along fine.

By the way, I've been able to bypass that Introductory page!!  For a lot of things that I do regularly, instead of using a bookmark, I click the little drop down box where the URL appears.  Recent items are there.  In IE, this is one of the few things I do, so that seems to be the easiest.  Well, it lists www.dsboards.com/indexse.html and that takes me straight to the main page instead of the introduction!!
