well i dont think u can sell anything on ebay. i found this out when i tried to sell some footage i shot of celebrities getting their stars on the walk of fame on hollywood blvd. these are public events and no restrictions on photography or videotaping. so i put a dvd containing several of these ceremonies up for auction. the item was removed by ebay! they claimed i was selling copyrighted material. i tried to explain that it was my own footage and no different from people selling celebrity photos but they didnt agree and refused to list this item. yet it is ok to list videotape episodes of copyrighted dark shadows episodes!

the ad says,three are 1" and one is 2" videotape. well legal or not, good luck playing the 2" videotape! there are very few machines left in the united states and perhaps the world that still operate anymore. they dont make them anymore and no parts can be replaced either unless u take a part from another machine. the 1" videotapes can not be originals cause the originals are on 2" videotape.the 1" tapes are most likely from the 80s syndication days. even to playback 1" videotape u need to know someone in the broadcast industry and even these machines arent used much anymore. one final note, original 16mm kinescope episodes of dark shadows have been sold by film collectors for years. i think the legalities come into play when you make copies and then sell the copies.

joel crothers also was on S.B. and if i remember correctly, JOHN SEDWICK directed many if not all the episodes.

id everyone aware that there are no more FESTIVAL RATE rooms available at the marriott in brooklyn for the 153.00 a night mentioned on another website? now rooms are starting at 219.00 a nite! what gets me is that the official darkshadowsfestival website makes no mention of the room rates or any other information! they dont even have registration forms! all they say is more information coming soon.

Just updated the site for the festival. added new pictures and replaced previous ones with better quality ones.There is also info on purchasing the event on video or dvd. If u had pictures taken with a ds star from the 2005 festival, email to me and i will do my best to add them to the site!

i thought the pilot was well done. it wasnt another remake of h.o.d.s. it was similiar yet different. blair brown was kind of a ditsy elizabeth. seemed like roger was the more stable one in this version. i wish the wb would reconsider. the pilot could still be used. i know the actor who played willie has moved on to gilmore girls but i have seen series where certain actors were replaced in the 2nd+ episodes. as long as they can retain the lead actors, the pilot could still be used as the 1st episode. 

mr. selby did not participate in the N.O.D.S. restoration panel for some reason. the only time he was on stage was during the radio play and no photography was allowed.
