Makes me wonder if characters who died in RT are still around in PT, just not mentioned.
Is Dr. Woodard at the hospital,  Mrs. Johnson still working for Bill Malloy,  Matthew Morgan working at the cannery,
Dr. Guthrie teaching at Dartmouth, Joe Haskell buying his boat, Burke Devlin marrying a human Laura, Victoria Winters still teaching at the orphanage, No Jeff Clark or Adam.

We know Sam Evans is dead.  I wonder if Elizabeth is a widow in PT?

Did they want a new actress to play Megan?

 

Curtis wanted Marie Wallace to play Megan from the start, even at the objection of the writers (Gordon Russell, anyway, as Marie says in her book, but he came around after he saw her in the role), but of course DC ruled (which I mean in the literal sense).

I just remembered that a few early color episodes do use the live exterior shots of Collinwood during the opening scene voice over.  This is where Collinwood is framed around tree branches and the camera moves toward the mansion drawing room windows.   The Blue Whale exteriors were also used for a while.

One 1795 episode had a large still photo of the forest in the background when Barnabas is searching for Jeremiah & Josette.

The exterior images were said to be discontinued after the series went to color due to time constraints and the budget.  But they still inserted exteriors of the cliff/ocean and lightning from time to time.  Couldn't they have just as easily inserted the exteriors as they did in the early episodes?  They were shot with color film.

I would have loved to see exteriors of Barnabas walking through the woods at night or appraoching Collinwood.  HODS did it but it just didn't feel the same.

Speaking about infamous episodes, when does the (IMHO) most infamous episode of all, involving the return of a ghost with an update on a vary familiar character happen?

David Warner I remember as a great Jack the Ripper in "Time After Time".

This must be the same Dr. Reeves from the pre-Barnabas episodes.
