It's amazing how many times they've tried to revive The Twilight Zone.  I would also include Night Gallery in it, basically, a remake of TTZ.  Some episodes have been brilliant; others not so, but then even the OS had some duds here and there.

I actually prefer the '90's remake of The Outer Limits.  It had only one complete remake of an original episode, the classic "Feasiblity Study."  It had a very prophetic episode, "Stream of Consciousness."  In the story, a chip is placed in all human brains where they can "stream" all information like how we "stream" today.  Society is revolutionized, but less than 3% of the population can be implanted, including the hero of the story from a slight brain injury in an accident that killed his parents.  People like him are looked down upon (like me, who still refuses to purchase and use a cellphone).  But then something goes horribly wrong with the "stream" and all humanity is threatened.  The hero is pegged as a terrorist but he manages to shut it all down.  Now, 97% of an illiterate humanity must rely on the 3% to teach them how to live, including to learn how to read "See Jane Run, Run, Jane, Run."

Catherine and Morgan together:  "Do I love you because you're wonderful?  Or are you wonderful, because you love me?  Do I..."

Catherine:  "Wait, wait, wait.  This is stupid, Morton.  Morgan?  Whatever."

Morgan:  "For the last and final time, Catherine, my wife, it's Morgan, not 'Morton.'"

Catherine:  "Whatever."

MB, are you serious?  No jumbotrom?  Have you no faith?  I'm going to have the good reverend go and have a talk with you!  At the very least, you won't be able to join the potluck after services are done!

Gerard (PS - also no bingo on Wednesday nights for you! - only Midnite will get a chance at winning that afghan)

Gothic, that's wonderful!  Let's hope that our beloved Denise's latest "set-back" was just a "glitch" in her recovery and it continues to progress.

I don't know if her family knows about this board and reads what we all post here, but hopefully the word gets out to them how much we love Denise and how much joy she brought and still brings to our lives.  We need OBD (our beloved Denise).

Anytime microsoft "updates" on my computer, I live in fear, loathing and terror as to what's now been screwed up.  This is why I often long for the era when communication was a rotary-dial phone as the only way to do things.  As much as it would urk me when my dad yammered about "da-good-ol'-days," at times I think he was right.

An interesting compilation.  Some of those shows I watched, some I've heard of but never saw, and some I never heard of.

Well, Uncle Roger, it's possible the munchkin congregants inside might've been distracted while watching one of those jumbotrons while joining the choir in a loud rendition of HalleluiaThe noise would've drowned out the jamming of the log.

Let's hope, Barnababy, that that's the case with Denise.  Doctors aren't infallible and they'll be the first to admit that; they go by what they see in their patients.  My mom was initially misdiagnosed with Parkinson's and was given meds for that (which wouldn't help but could've actually hindered) and then on top of that with Alzheimer's.  More meds that won't work and even may have hindered.  She had Lewy Bodies Disease which mimics both Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.  But by the time that was discovered it was too late.  All the damage had been done and couldn't be reversed.  Let's continue to hope for all the best for out beloved Denise.

According to folklore, vampires can't stand silver and that's where the OS got it wrong and '12 got it right.  And, yes, Patti, Barnabas did beat off Chris-the-werewolf with his silver-headed cane when he tried to attack Carolyn in the OS.  That, as a kid, was one of my favorite and spooky episodes.
