But I also have a copy of Grayson's NoDS script, and those lines aren't in it either - yet her script does contain all sorts of notations...

Wow!!  How did you get that?!!

I checked it out last night after reading the original question and explanation.  There is also the fact that these aren't very "normal" symbols.  It's not like an obvious picture that you might remember was with a certain number.  One has to sort of "study" them to even remember what they are when the answer comes up!

Again from Patrick on the SciFi Board:

For those who might be interested, Kathryn Leigh Scott's Matlock episodes entitled The Mayor, will air on the Hallmark Channel on Friday March 19th. It is a two part episode but they will air back to back with part one at 9pm EST and Part two at 10pm EST.

I forgot to post this yesterday and almost again today.  As I've seen this and her other Matlock episode several times, I wasn't interested.  Fortunately, it's not until tomorrow night, so I hope this is enough notice for anyone who is interested!   :)

Hmmm - the slideshow does work in Netscape because I watched it yesterday afternoon. Do you have JavaScript enabled in Netscape, Josette?

I assumed that I did, but I checked and it wasn't.  That fixed it.  :)

Very nice!  I was quite disappointed.  He was the first person to be seen.  He came bursting into the room.  There was that whole scene in which he was featured a few times.  And then, that was it!!  I thought for sure they would go to the house to pick up Mike and there would be more.

By the way, I couldn't find any pictures on the page.  That was in Netscape.  I decided to try it in IE, and then after a little while to load, I finally got them.

Current Talk '04 I / Re:Sad Scenes
« on: March 14, 2004, 05:12:07 AM »
Another sad one for me was when Angelique told Beth about her engagement to Quentin!  Poor Beth had tried so hard to refuse him and then when she does finally give in, this has to happen to her.  I also thought her death very sad too.  She definetely didn't deserve all this.

Well, if you're going to mention that one - how about when 1840 Roxanne is introduced to Valerie as his wife!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY,

I saw Pleasantville fairly recently, but other than a couple of main characters I wouldn't remember who was who.  I checked the IMDB and she's way down the list (on the 2nd page after clicking "more") - so it must have been a pretty small part.

Since they're mentioning all the coincidences of casting, Joan Allen who was Pat Nixon was also in Pleasantville!

I then checked Marley Shelton and I see she was in Uptown Girls.  I haven't seen that yet but want to.  This time she's listed right after the 2 leads.

I'll go into a bit more detail here, so for those who haven't seen it, I'll do it as a spoiler.
This time Barnabas was trying to save Vicki.  Angelique promised to help by putting a spell on her just before the hanging so she would appear to be dead and then remove it afterwards.

Of course, she refused to remove it afterwards; Peter was furious thinking she was dead; and Barnabas was furious and arranged with Ben to be waiting with a torch and get Angelique.  That's the part I loved!

Once Angelique was gone, Vicki came out of the spell and she and Peter supposedly went off to a wonderful life together.

This is before they go to 1897.  The other one comes at the end of 1897 with Lady Kitty.  This time Barnabas presumably has finally worked it out to get Josette until he's stopped by the Leviathans.
I agree that it was an unnecessary diversion and it would have been better to leave the original story unchanged.  We could have just assumed that Vicki and Peter lived "happily ever after" (at least if they hadn't changed things yet again in the Leviathan story!! - that was atrocious!!).

However, we do get the satisfaction of how they tricked and destroyed Angelique.  I really loved that.

I wasn't going to join this - I really couldn't think of anything and then found lots of good things listed here that wouldn't have occurred to me.

I did consider just saying "Barnabas"!!

But now, I think I'd like a lot of the dresses worn by Josette and Lady Kitty.
