Oh sweet goddess, those were priceless!  ;D  Thank you so much for posting these, Midnite...and providing caption/dialogue with them too (pardon my excitement, kids...I'm a nut!  lol). You get a dozen of my special low fat fudgie brownie cookies, or whatnot...Oh what the hell, *everyone* gets a cookie.   :-* :-*

Hugs from W. PA,

Heather

Darling, in honor of your birthday, Pepe has invited you to her place for an evening you'll never forget!
And remember, darling, what happens at Pepe's...stays at Pepe's!

  ^-^ ;D :-*

Gosh you're on a roll darling...thanks for the big grin, the screencap, and the... party.   ;)  >:D

Sweetie, give yourself a little luxury--you've earned it, Dahling!

Flirt {wink}. Does slowly, slowly devouring some chocolate while watching your favorite Grayson movie count? LOL   :-*

Many MANY thanks for the Birthday wishes everyone...gosh, that made me smile, big time! Thank you from the bottom of my heart {sniffle}.  :-*

p.s. Hey Bette - I noticed your new avatar. Nice!   :-*

The combination of the brilliant color and the technique of the swirled design is amazing to me. I think Ms. Hall would be delighted. ;)

Gosh...many thanks everyone. You're all too kind! I honestly wasn't sure what anyone would think, so...thanks for the feedback. :-*

love the bottle!
I think Briscoe would have made an excellent Jake!

Me too hon...thanks.  :-*  And the bottle was my favorite part! Wonder what that says about me... LOL

I notice what looks like a symbol of sorts on Grayson's back. IS it anything? Or have I been reading too much Dan Brown lately?

Hiya Connie.  [wave]  Hmm...very interesting. What kind of symbol do you see exactly?  Me curious...I love dissecting my artwork like I do fanfic (been known to post oddly elaborate responses to stories on the JuliaList, that's all I meant. ;))
I don't think I meant for it to represent anything per say...more a slight accident while rendering the top portion of her spine/back area more than anything else (BTW, that particular piece was intended to be more stylized/not extra picture perfect... eh, I try ).  lol
But if you have a theory I'm all ears! IMHO, One of the great things about art is that you can find meaning in the artist's intent and beyond that intent, or sometimes find whole new meanings -- all a matter of perspective, and whatnot....if any of that makes any sense. [scratch]   [8285] lol   :-*

When Barnabas declared that the dying Angelique was his one true love. Sorry, Angelique/Barn fans, but I just don't buy it. Never did, never will.

Ditto...  ;) :-*

Yes, me again.  ::)  ;) I hesitated to post this, but what the hey; here's a couple illustrations I did recently....

The first one caused a bit of a stir... :D I had to readjust my design so it wouldn't offend some  at...the place of higher learning. ;) Its an illustration of a scene from the book "The End of The Road..."

No, wait...hear me out...  ;D

[cough] Now granted, I did a Briscoe-esque Jake instead of Keach but...what the hell. Looking at it now, it kinda chokes me up (well, especially  after a long, *long* week.) However you could also see at it as a wild night at Chris' cottage I suppose...whatever floats your boat, or whatnot. Interpret me, baby!  lol Well this isn't the best scan (this stuff always looks better in "Real life". Freakin' technology... ;)) Anyhoo, this was done in guache, pastels and colored pencils:

Yes, he's a just a TAD more ripped than he actually was but...you don't mind, do ya boys? Hope not. ;) lol

And these were done in Illustrator (the foreground image that is, including the profile shot; starry background done in photoshop)--just some vector art that took what seemed like *forever*...  :P

And a close-up (hey, at least I drew her from the left side this time, instead of a three-quarter right hand view...) ;)

All I can say is: thank goddess its Friday!

Hugs,

Heather

18) All you want for X-mas is a silver tea service, just like Liz!   :D

19) You reinact your favorite scenes with your own DS dolls...

20) You never leave the house without your trusty hand bag and shiny medallion...

Chris:  "Your birthday?  If I had known, Dr. Hoffman, I would have brought you a present."

Barnabas:  "No need to worry, Chris, because...you are Dr. Hoffman's present!"

LOL  Excellent...  ;)    :-* ;D
