I think a love child between Barney and Angie would have been a very interesting charactor.  The writers could have had a field day with him/her.

When I pull my name out of the hat two stuck together.  I got Willie and Mrs. J. and they are both getting Merry Maids.  Taking care of those houses single handedly they both need a break.

Feeling very generous I am going to buy Barnabas some casual clothes.  Wouldn't it be nice to see him in something other than a suit and tie.

Connie, how great that you and your daughter have DS to enjoy together.  My l3 year old use to be my DS buddy but the perfect child has become a full blown teenager.   Your daughter is a cutie.

Of course it is our job to embarrass our children.

Funny that all of our lives are in ways like each others.  My family puts up with my addition.  My husband humors me with the DS thing.  Every once in awhile he will ask a question about the show while I am watching as he passes by.  My two younger children were fans for awhile but lately they aren't as interested.   My oldest, 20 year old son, laughs and says it is scary how many tapes I have squirreled away in the closet in the playroom.  MY  nineteen year old just ignores it most of the time.  I think they are very grateful we have more than one TV and VCR. When I am visiting here someone is always hanging over my shoulder asking how long I am going to be. My mother doesn't get the whole DS thing.  Right now I am on her good side so she listens and pretends to care.  I have noticed when I start talking about DS she starts talking about her favorite show NYPD Blue.  If I bore her with my show , she can do the same with hers.  Revenge is sweet.

Friends, some of them know I am a little off the wall with the DS thing.  Because they love me they snicker behind my back instead of to my face.  There are people who I would never let on to.

Snood is played all the time on this computer too.

In totally agreement here, When Mom is happy everyone is happy. Yes, they do laugh at me.

HappyBat, I live just north of Worcester.  Worcester is where I grow up.  I did remember you and Ginger Cat live in Concord and I think of both of you when driving Rt 2 through Concord on my way to Salem to get my daugher.

Spoiler---I think Tim Shaw mentioned Worcerster once, I was so excited it was mentioned on my favorite show back in 1969.

Believe me Jennifer, I understand where you are coming from.  I am just trying to ignore the economy, bad news, etc.  My husbands job has gone through some major changes and not for the better.  Very stressful and corperate American *s**ks.  I am grateful he is still working but I hate what is going on.  Just trying to push the black cloud away.  It is either that or drink.

Birdie--I think I will have a bloody mary--it is morning right.

At least you get the dreaded photo, My troops refused at Thanksgiving.  My twenty year old just did not get the humor.

I am for the Boston location, but than again I live west of the city so I guess I am bias.  I know it is not very practical but I still think Newport would be fabulous.  If they did it in May they might miss the summer raise in rates.  I think it would be very enjoyable for the attendee's and the stars.

I hope everyone will enjoy the season.  It is such a mad cap hussel bussel time.  I swear every year I am going to relax and enjoy.  Yes, I am one of those who enjoys the music only not until after Thanksgiving.  My house is decorated, and my shopping almost done.  My back still hurts from wrapping for four hours.  But the panic is starting to hit.  Friday night I had two get togethers to go too.  Just got another invite to a cookie swap.  Oh not to mention the holiday musicals at my childrens school.  I just finished writing my Christmas cards and every year I swear this will be the last time I send them.  Hey, someone has to keep the post office in business.  Than of course is the complusion to bake seven different kinds of cookies.

I really do love the season.  I just need DS to keep me sane.

Miss-Winthrop,
Franicis Reid is still alive.  She was on the Thanksgiving show.  She has gotten very frail but she seemed to be still with it.
I loved and watched "Days" for a very long time.  I think I saw it almost from the beginning.  I was very sick when I was young and my mother used to make me take a nap on her bed.  She would always have it on.  She would fall asleep and I would end up watching the show.  It is very rare that I watch anymore.  I do get a kick out of seeing the old cast members come back for the holidays.

Thanks Connie,

I needed a fix.  It is starting to get to me all these weeks with our DS.  I was hoping beyond hope when I opened the TV section of todays paper DS would be listed.  The depression hit right away when those other stupid shows were listed.

I'll be singing  "It's a Blue Christmas without You".  I miss our show.

Thanks for cheering me up.

Bob, I have the CVS ornaments too, but I set them up as a scene on my antique sewing  machine in my living room.  I don't have all the misfit toys though. Sob  In my living room is also the Hallmark Charlie Brown Christmas grouping.  I get a thrill just opening and once again putting them out.

Birdie--I have to go to the mall , and seem to be putting it off.
