Dark Shadows always seemed to have a bad habit of cutting the emotional resonance down to nil when a character exited.

Worse than that, some characters had no explanation for their leaving, and were never mentioned again. Bad planning indeed!

Really? What a trip! I would like to visit Maine again someday, haven't been there in 38 years. My family moved to California soon after I was born, so I don't remember anything, only what I've seen in pictures.

Sorry about the incomplete post---I messed up.

Misty, when that happens, just click on "Modify", and you can go back in your post and change anything or add more to it if you want, instead of starting another post. Just thought I would help.

Bob the Bartender, who will now tune into the "Twilight Zone" or perhaps "Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction?" on the Sci-Fi channel.  Beam me up, Scotty!!!

Bob, you forgot the Outer Limits, and That's Incredible!

I think Betsey did her best to act Vicky-like and succeeded better than we give her credit for.

And she kept a straight face when Tom Jennings was in her room. I thought he was more funny than scary!

I sort of remember Ben Stokes grave being dug up by someone, so they could get a book out of the coffin. I have no idea what storyline it was or who did it.

He did live a long life, his birthday was also the same as my dad's, March 6th. I wonder what town in Maine, Daniel Keyes died in. I was born in Kittery.

In today's show, he was both,  hamming it to the hilt as Tom and great as Chris.

I like the part when Chris is in the house, talking to Nicholas, and Tom shows up at the window. My daughter was watching with me today, and she said, "Where's the Werewolf?" She knows her fave is coming soon.

The only good thing about Ms. Durkin's stint on DS is that is very short!

Nobody could've replaced Alexandra Moltke, she was on the show from the beginning, nobody else will do.

It must be the face, and I wonder why she would wear that dress on a stormy night?! She looked like she was cold, when she came back to Collinwood.

I don't remember the scene from 1840, so I have to vote for the other one!

Just think of the thrill of meeting Daniel Keyes, the Mr. Magoo-like Eagle Hill Cemetary Caretaker!)

You think he's still living? He was old back then.

I have IE 6.0, I tried to highlight the text and copy it. It froze my computer, not trying that again! Haven't tried the copy and paste thing yet.

Don has the best voice of anybody on the show in my opinion.

His voice is nice, but I think Craig Slocum has the best voice on the show. He just sounds so sweet!
