Not the scariest but one of the most dramatically horrifying was the Angelique - Alexis one:
The living Alexis touches the "dead" body of her identical twin Angelique in the coffin.  The warmth of the touch revives Angelique, who not only comes alive, but after questioning Alexis for necessary info, proceeds to take the warmth from her, fully reviving herself and leaving Alexis dead in the coffin.
I think about the only part that really bothered me in a scary sort of way were the first views of Gerard in 1995.  He had that really pronounced sneer and would suddenly appear and watch them.  It was v-e-r-y unnerving.
Now I can't remember if it was Julia, Carolyn, or Elizabeth (most likely Carolyn), but when this person found Angelique in Sky's house, didn't she apologize for all the nasty stuff she pulled as Cassandra (and Angelique the vampiress)? She also said that she still had her powers, but she wanted to be "good" from then on, she didn't want to have anything to do with the goings-on at Collinwood.

Julia met Angellique at Sky's and later Barnabas went there.  The primary reason she didn't want to have Carolyn and Elizabeth there was that she was afraid they would recognize her as Cassandra, so she certainly didn't have any conversations like that with them.  They didn't know anything about her having powers anwyay.
Could it have just been a typo and somehow both versions exist and are really the same thing?

Connie, I was originally going to say the same thing.  But, I clicked on "quote" in Midnite's reply to see what her code said, and hers was also written Lucinda!

Very nice!  My one little quibble was with

"As a result, their performances were often stiff, and mistakes, especially among the show's child actors, were commonplace. "

I would say that for the most part thie children hardly ever made mistakes, whereas almost all the adults did, sometimes frequently.
