The reading of the will.  But all of Judith's scenes in these eps are good. Joan Bennett is really good in the scene where Jenny confronts Judith.

I voted for "alms for the poor and needy". I liked seeing Quentin and Jamison together in this scene.

I voted for the scene in which Grandmama receives Barnabas, but the scene where Carl meets Barnabas was a close second.

Happy Birthday Jonathan Frid!  We have him to thank for many happy memories watching Dark Shadows.[vampy]  My favorite scene is the one where he describes the Old House as it was to Vicky.[ghost]

Calendar Events / Announcements '02 II / OT: Jonathan Harris on Biography
« on: November 28, 2002, 05:13:35 AM »
Since there was a lot of discussion about Jonathan Harris here after his recent death, I thought I would mention this. I was channel surfing tonight and found that "Biography" was featuring Jonathan Harris. I tuned in the middle of the show. It featured interviews with him, his co-stars, and footage of him at conventions. It will be repeated at 11:00 P.M. CST.

I would like to see this storyline. Victoria Lord Reilly Buchanan answers a knock at  the door to a mysterious stranger who claims to be a cousin from England.[vampy]

I also liked the early episodes the best. I love mysteries and the show was more gothic suspense/mystery then. Actually I think the show went a bit crazy with the supernatural stuff after Barnabas arrived. I loved the Laura storyline. [kaiokn] I can vividly remember sitting on the floor in front of the TV watching that as kid and thinking that this was different from any other soap opera.

Thanks, Adra but I don't have the talent or desire to write fanfiction. However, I like to read it! So if you come up with a story I'd love to read it.[coolb]

Current Talk '02 II / Quentin's trip to Egypt
« on: November 08, 2002, 04:06:44 AM »
Today Quentin told Jamison that he had been in Egypt before returning home. Alexandria. That would have been an interesting storyline had the writers chosen to pursue it. Alot of what-ifs--What if Quentin had brought back a mummy? I would have liked this better than another werewolf story. Maybe he did bring back some souveniers and I just haven't seen that part yet. About Judith's pink dress--yesterday or today, I don't remember which but she was wearing a pinkish coral dress with matching hair bow and identically matching lipstick! I don't know if they had pink/coral lipstick or lipstick at all in 1897. [rleyeb]
