I would love to talk to so many people I have lost

Of my relatives who have died, I would like to talk to my aunt Mary and uncle Joseph, they were twins, from my Mother's side of the family.

Thank you Anne, you are so sweet! When I do meet Craig Slocum, we will never say goodbye. Maybe you will see us in the hereafter someday.

My room for the DS Festival was on the 17th floor

Mine was on the 14th floor, also stayed on the top floor with a friend. I think there were 22 floors. When I was flying to New York for the Dark Shadows Festival, I had one of those thoughts like, what if there is a bombing? I just dismissed it. I always figured it would happen again, just not when it did, and not as severe. Everybody was caught off guard. Everything was so peaceful when we were there for the Festival.

On a somewhat happier note, Cassandra Collins, chic and venomous as ever, is going to be reappearing again shortly, too.

Better than that, Harry Johnson (Craig Slocum), handsome and still working at Collinwood, will be reappearing one more time, with imperturbable poise and sexy voice.

All 4 of my grandparents,

I never met any of my grandparents, they all died before I was born. At least my daughter has 2 of hers living.

The clock in the foyer, when it chimes a number of times. We had a chime clock in our house when I was growing up, it chimed every 15 minutes, and to this day, I hate chiming clocks, would never have one!

is the exact same one that Carolyn wore not too long ago.

In the last scenes with Harry Johnson and Nicholas Blair, when he had Harry go and dig up Eve's grave, the jacket that Harry was wearing, is the exact same one that Joe Haskell wore. Mix and match!

Craig Slocum passed away on September 12, 1978. He had diabetes, was only 38 years old. He is loved and missed. If you would like, you can add a flower for him on his memorial at,

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=5307782

For those of you who already have, thank you! I am sure Craig appreciates it. I pray for his peace and happiness where his spirit is.

I would sure like to chat with Craig Slocum. I have lots to say to him! I also would ask him some questions, like why he left Dark Shadows, did he ever get married, have children, when was he diagnosed with diabetes, where was he at the time of his death, where is he buried, what inspired him to be an actor & at what age did he become one, where is his family so they can receive acknowledgment of my JDRF memorial gifts in his memory, and I'm sure I could think of many other things!

Those of us who attended had only been home a few short weeks when the two towers fell.

It was really a shock. Even though I was safe at home when it happened, my family was still overwhelmed, knowing that I had just been there. I had been in New York, at the Marriott World Trade Center for a week, during the time of the Festival. I remember flying all night from Las Vegas, and arriving there dead tired at the hotel in the morning. All I wanted to do was get into my room and go to sleep, which is what I did. So glad it didn't happen then! I watched the memorial service today on tv, we also had one here at Las Vegas City Hall. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the victims. I will light an extra candle tonight, I always light one for Craig Slocum.

Ummmm, yes. Perhaps it is because I am middleaged, but I have to wonder if talk about LOVE could be made the same way today.

When I think of love, I think of a soulmate, a person with whom one has a strong affinity. That is so hard to come by, and cannot be found by looking for it. I think it's a meant-to-be moment, that turns out to mean the world to those lucky few it happens to. It never happened to me, and I'm almost middleaged. I just look forward to raising my daughter and seeing some grandchildren some day.

The regular cast members of DS made somewhere around $250-$300 a week IIRC but I could be wrong.

Not much money was it? For my expenses, I pay $4,000.00 a month. Now you know why I don't date, no one can afford me.

If I were in his condition, I would be ready to believe anything. Haven't seen anything weirder this wake!

everyone in flannel lined jeans and hand knitted sweaters.

Makes me hot just thinking about it! Even when it gets down to the 20's in Las Vegas during the winter, I don't wear flannel lined jeans. Our cold spell is so short here, even sweaters are a waste of money.

I realize that Rainey, and I have seen people wearing them. I was speaking for myself. I was brought up in a holiness church, and they were against pentagrams. I would not dislike someone for wearing it, it's just not for me.
