Barnabas and Josette-the elegant romance

Vicki and Burke-not the most interesting, but a nice couple

Quimten and Beth 1897- something about these two fasinated me when I watched this show.

Potential Couples:

Liz and Prof. Stokes-this idea intrigued me

Yes, the movie was insane...they killed poor Julia which slightly angered me but they also killed most of the family/cast so Julia's death didn't anger me after that.


it is also true that we are left wondering in Barn is dead at the end.

Eliot Knew, he had too. Either he knew and kept quiet, or he was extremely stupid.

The guy saw all these wierd things and had to know something, i'm sure their had to be something in one of Ben's old journals that told him

Sinister Barnabas was great because he was just basically pure evil. it was fun to watch.

Most of his lines then where pretty simple too.

Then they went to guilt-ridden, and he started giving longwinded whiny speeches which he sometimes messed up.

I think though most ppl startrd complainning and worring because they had changed the dynamic of Barnabas...you know vampires are evil creatures ala Dracula but now Barn is good/guilty about his mosterous past...so people began to worry that fans would lose intrest in a Happy more nice-guy Barn.

but it worked and DS became a huge hit.

I didn't vote in this poll but I liked Lara as Catherine Harriage Collins, she played a character so diffrent from all her Angelique's. This woman actually made you feel for her everytime she was on screen. Angelique had her moments but So much stuff happened to Catherine and again it was just a welcome change even among the C#ap that was 1841PT

I always had two thoughts on this:

1) as others mentioned, Vicki is the "eyes" of the viewers, making her Angelique's magical plaything would have distanced the character from what she was suppose to be, us-the viewer.

2) the other though is that if she constantly was bewitched, then she would become even more usless than she did, because she couldn't help Barnabas and Julia fight Ang, they'd be spending too much time saving her, not that they didn't do that already. Also it would make vicki a more expendable character than she was suppose to be.
