Current Talk '02 I / Re: Dark Shadows Drinking Game
« on: April 03, 2002, 12:23:20 AM »
I finally have something to add to the Dark Shadows Drinking Game!  How 'bout when someone enters a room that has been closed for months, and there are candles burning. (for example when Joshua opened the mausoleum to look for Barnabus, and the candles were still burning in the corner).
Drink!

Current Talk '02 I / Question on the Family Name
« on: March 28, 2002, 10:44:57 PM »
Hello all.  Just wondering, if Barnabus is dead, and Jerimiah is dead, and everyone else is female...who is going to carry on the family name?  I guess Joshua and Naomi (Naomi, right?) will be having more babies?
Eewwe.
So sad when Sarah died, almost cried!
Sidenote:  I heard Millicent call Nathan "Joe" out in the woods, day before yesterday.

Hello, not sure where else to put in my 2 cents, so here goes.
I think it's kinda weird that everyone refers to the Old House as the "Old" house.  Right away, before the "new" house, Collinwood, was even finished, they were referring to it as the Old house.  Seems to me that they would refer to the old house as the "house" and Collinwood as the "new" house.  Also weird that when Barn got to 1965, he seemed stumped up by calling it the "old" house.  Also, the ghost of Sarah Collins and even Josette seem to favor hauting the old house even though they have both moved to the new house.  Sarah even acted as though she had never even heard about the new house.
ALSO, and I'm not sure when Josette will meet her fate, but it seems she is in mourning and has spent alot of time in that black dress.  Weird that her ghost is always dancing around in a white nightie...
small little things like that...

Yes, I loved when he was walled in.   I was SO STRESSED OUT when he had Barnabus walled in.  Day after day, stuck in the wall with no food, and no bathroom.  But those DS people don't use the bathroom, do they?

When I first saw Jerry Lacy as the lawyer, was it Tony?, I thought, WOW that guy is hot (liked his attitude too), and then, every once in a while he would say something that sounded like Trask.  After a short while I realized, he was Trask.  I HATE Trask.  I've always hated Trask.  He is such a pain in the A.  Now I've got this weird love-hate thing going on.  Love the actor, hate the character...Oy.

If Vicki EVER gets back to 1967, will Barnabus suddenly remember her from 1795?  Surely, he would remember her - the stranger from the future, even after spending all that time locked up in his coffin.  Has Vicki changed history at all?  The story that is unfolding seems to be different than the stories Barnabus tells.  Has Vicki taken the brunt of the Witch Hunt that would have been directed at Angelique?  I wonder...

Or how 'bout the other day when she appeared to...someone, I forget who...but then her head got bigger and bigger.  Maybe she should have been the Wizard of Oz!

I CAN'T WAIT to go to the festival!  I've never been to one and live very close to Anaheim, so I'll be there.  I have already put in for that Friday off!  I don't want to get there Saturday and have everyone say "oh, you should of been here yesterday...".  I don't know any people at all, besides you folks of course, who watch Dark Shadows, so it will be great to meet a whole convention center full of 'em!  Yikes!

You are all right, she is amazingly beautiful.
Ringo, I didn't realize that was a picture of you and The Lovely and Talented, it is so teeny tiny-itty bitty that I couldn't tell, but now that you mention it...
Hey!  Does anyone have a teeny tiny-itty bitty picture of Latisha I could use?

Question for Ringo..."TLATKLS", I'm guessing..."The Lovely And Talented Kathryn Leigh Scott". (?)
Sure wish she would have stuck to her fashion guns yesterday and not let Angelique pin that hideous flower to her pretty dress...

When I first discovered the Dark Shadows Drinking Game, I emailed the guy who had the page and told him how great it is.  He said that he and his friends had invented it to give themselves (a bunch of college guys) an excuse to sit around and watch a soap opera everyday...

Have any of you ever come across the Dark Shadows Drinking Game? Here's a link to the rules. It's hilarious, I always think of it when I see the boom or a wall shakes.

Yeah, and how come Barnabus never freaked out when EVERYONE looks like someone from his own time like Vicki, sorry, Victoria, does!
Also, Angelic rocks. Hmmmm, I need help. Let me get me a man-slave...
