I went off the deep end last year and bought the entire set used on VHS...The DVD's are nicely done ..I just wanted to see the whole series in less than the 3 or 4 years it'll take til they are all out...I did end up w/ extras of Vol 17-32 and would be happy to work something out w/ anyone that needs these eps for their collection...anyway looking forward to DVD set 5 and beyond...

The quality on these keeps getting better and better.  I really notice the improved sound especially on the Kinescope eps.  Hopefully MPI is still considering moving to a monthly release schedule sometime soon.

Also,  Set 5 at the end of April and Set 6 at the end of June.  Hopefully MPI will go to a monthly schedule after that as was rumored a few weeks ago.

I have to say all the Leviathan brats...Alexander should have been dangled by his feet from the tower...the first Trask was extremely dislikable but was a well acted role...Leviathan demon children... and people wonder why we are not having kids...

Thanks...second time for me...I think this is REALLY the one...I first watched Shadows when I was 6 or 7...now, at 39, I think I have to FINALLY admit Lara Parker is just not available! Seriously, this is a great forum and I like the fact that MPI checks in here every now and then...

That would be great news indeed if they could go bi- monthly starting in Feb...maybe if enough people ask politely it will happen...at this rate it will take about 7 years...I think set 3 does look even better...it is even more noticeable on the color eps which seem to have much brighter colors than the tapes...maybe MPI could post here about a timeline for the series...every 2 months for a new set would be great!

Great...I hope Dan Curtis is still in this reality or else we'll never see a DS movie..Imagine he wakes up in 1795 and TV hasn't even been invented...seriously I give up on MPI chats for a while...

Hi to the person who asked abt my MPI order I ordered it on Aug 27th after trying 7 different stores here and not finding it...I got it yesterday...give them a call they are pretty helpful...I once did have a video order that was lost in the mail...They sent me another one after 10 business days had passed...

I got mine from MPI today...Amazon was once great but the past year or 2 has seen a decline in customer service and Deep Discount isnt far behind...One reason I dont mind paying a little extra is that I can actually get a real person on the phone at MPI and they have been very helpful so far....and  I appreciate them keeping Shadows alive through 2 different formats

I have to say Amazon has really been going down hill...which is why I paid the extra $ to get it from MPI...Amazon is increasingly difficult to get on the phone and they shipped the wrong cd to a friend of mine FIVE times! When a mistake happened once with an MPI tape they made it right immediately

Let me add to what I said earlier...when I called MPI Tuesday they told me it had JUST been sent to retailers...I am not sure how Media Play got it so quick but all the stores should be getting it early in the week if they dont have it already...I'll post when I get mine from MPI...
