Current Talk '02 II / Re: Roger Davis Has Many Fans...All Electric...
« on: August 18, 2002, 05:47:08 AM »
:)  He must have fans besides his wife?  No, I never did like him replacing Peter Duel in Alias Smith & Jones. Then again, I was heartbroken when Peter Duel passed away.   Jeff Clark is just an irritating character.   He annoys me.   I preferred Peter Bradford in 1795 with Vicki.  I thought that was sweet.   Tate was okay.  Who knows....they have to be out there somewhere....maybe? ;D

Jeff Clark is the most agitating characters.  Peter Bradford was alittle bit better.    Maybe it's Davis?  I always get a headache whenever he's onscreen.

I remember when he replaced Peter Duel in Alias Smith & Jones.....he annoyed me then, too.  I can't remember if he was that fond of his hair in that show?   :)

:)  Tough choices....

I'd love to check out the Playroom but the opportunity to check out the lottery room would be more of an adventure.    ?!?

?!?  Decisions...decisions....

Angelique.   She's too obsessed with Barnabas.   Sort of the Fatal Attraction in 1795.  No guy is worth that many emotions especially when he snubs her.  "A woman scorned...."

Barnabas.  Too obsessed with Josette to turn Maggie into her.  Find another love.

;D

:)  I used to watch Edge of Night when I was a kid.  I remember Joel Crothers as Miles.  He had a mustache on that show.   I don't remember it being so much as a mystery as a usual soap.

Whenever I saw a former DS cast member on another show - oh.....there's so-and-so!   ;D

Current Talk '02 II / Re: Adam and High School Memories
« on: July 30, 2002, 04:51:50 AM »
:)  At my high school there were three categories....the jocks, the geeks & the freaks.  Adam reminds me of the jocks.  All brawn but he does have brains.  Smarter than the jocks at my high school.  The bully during my high school days was a girl.  Maybe she could be "Eve"?
Yes, I was trying to forget those days.   ;D

I felt so bad for Adam today when Carolyn gave him a sweater...He was so appreciative of it ...that he cried,I found that very endearing..

I agree with you, Maggie.  It was so thoughtful of Carolyn but she really confuses him.  One day - she's sweet to Adam.  The next day - she's kissing Tony.   :)

?!?  I was thrilled that Vicki ended the engagement to that awful Jeff Clark.  He is so irritating!   Why did they put her with "him" instead of anyone else....?!  Maybe that's why she was anxious to leave?

How many woman who want to be stuck with that man? :P

:)  I think even Carolyn changed from her usual snide remarks to a more thoughtful person (ie. regarding Adam).  It's for the better, in my opinion.  She can still hold her ground to some extent.

David seems to be the bravest of the entire family.  However, most of the time - nobody believes the kid.  He sees everything & everyone for who/what they are.

If Liz wasn't under that curse - she'd be stronger & Roger was probably devastated over Cassandra.  Barnabas?  I'm not sure.   ?!?

And to top it all off, people are lifting up the 'blankie' or whatever it is and peeking in..that must release a very bad bad smell. I guess if they can stand Jeff Clark, they can stand the smell  ;)

It must be the lysol that's killing the smell under those blankies.  Or, they have those stick-ups?   ;)

:o  It's different watching the series now compared to being a child.  Now, I laugh over the bats & coffins.

My one terrified memory was when Alexis reached into Angelique's coffin and touched her.  The rest scared me to death.  To this day - I don't like to watch anyone touch a dead body.  It gives me the creeps!   I'll never forget that one!
