like I've said before, as much as I view Julia and Barnabas as a romantic couple, I had a really tough time deciding what category they should be on. And it just so happened when I asked the opinion of people on this board that day, there were a lot who felt that they shouldnt be in the romantic category because they were never an official couple on the show.

as a response to write in votes, they arent counted. Actually, there was only one person who did that, so the nominations they wrote wouldnt even stand a chance. Its too late to be counting write in votes because prenomination voting ends this saturday. And its not fair to the people who already voted.

And please, I dont encourge people to vote for Julia and Barnabas in the romantic couple because that will lower their chance of winning the Duo category. So if you write them in the Romantic couple category, its wont get counted and it will all just be a waste for them.

when i voted i was dissapointed that the supporting actor/actress category had been eliminated.i think it is going to freeze some actors out who maybe didn't get the most screen time.

the reason why i got rid of the supporting categories was because at one point, many of the actors were in lead roles, then in another storyline, they were reduced to supporting roles. So it wouldnt be right if I put Nancy Barrett in supporting even though she was the Lead actress in the Adam Storyline and the Leviathans storyline. Had I done a seperate ceremony for each storyline, I would be able to include the supporting categories. And the reason why didnt make seperate ceremonies was because it would take too long and too much work.

For me, the worst DS episodes were the beginning of 1970 parallel Time when the major cast was filming the movie so on the show, the minor chracters are shoved up front such as Yaeger and the god awful Sabrina. That was the first time EVER that I turned off the tv in the middle of a DS episode. The Adam Storyline is also a weak point. It just became boring after awhile.

MANY people expressed dislike towards the Leviathans s/l. So when Sci fi aired these episodes 2 years ago, I was prepared for the worst. But what I saw was a storyline that wasnt as bad as it was made out to be. The beginning was exciting but then it kinda got dull but at the end it really picked up. This was also one of my favorite Angelique time periods because she was still bad-to-the- bone but we saw a new side of her, a heroine.

thank you all for clarifying. At my website, someone didnt like my Angeliques Prerogative video because the song was by Britney Spears. They wanted me to change it and tried to threaten me with all this copright stuff and that I needed to basically do what they want or I would "wind up in a lot of trouble."

Lenore could have had a daughter who married a guy named Jennings. Jennings must have had a sister who married a guy named Haskell. So as you can see, Joe and Chris can be cousins without the collins relation.

after 2 days of voting, so far there are 2 actors, 1 actress, and 2 couples that have been voted for on each ballot submitted. So far, it looks like a very competitive group in the acting categories. Its all so exciting!

I think that B& J were more romantic or in love than most of those couples in the Romantic category or even on the show. Their love for one another was so raw and real compared to the other forced pairings. Its truly sad that they never got to share their feelings for one another.

I hope you didnt mind that I made a new topic to announce the Prenominations in the calendar events forum.

and yea, I really did want julia and Barnabas in the Romantic category. But since they were never official, i made the choice to put them in "duo." If only ABC gave the show a few more months. If they decided to end the show on Jun 27 1971, they could have gone back to 1971 after 1841 PT and cleared up so many loose ends such as Barnabas and Julia and Victoria being Elizabeth's daughter. They would have been able to really give the show a proper ending.

We are currently in the Prenomination stage. Jan1st - jan 15th

Once voting for prenominations end on the Jan 15th, I will count the votes, and the top 5 with the most votes in the category will move onto the final nominations.

Im finished. I was able to use most of your suggestions, but not all. For the couples and duo, there are a lot of quentin and Barnabas ones.
In the end, Julia and Barnabas were classified as non romantic. Go to my main site in 5 minutes.
