Mine too apparently. Page 60 of the current issue is a Where Are They Now feature, so I'm thinking that's what was in last month's too

Thank you Claude. Ir's always sad when another member of the DS family leaves us. To be honest though I knew next to nothing about him. I'm not sure I have ever seen an episode of DS that he was in. But he was quite handsome and from reading the obit he definitely had a positive impact on the industry and a long and varied career.

As I regularly do now these days, I went to Youtube to find old clips and out of curiosity I looked up Fowkes' name. Well nothing showed up but a career counseling/taxes video for dancers of all things.  As mind-numbing as tax laws are Fowkes was entertaining  to watch. I'm going to have to Netflix his episodes.

(unfortunately the audio is way ahead of the video)

R.I.P. Mr Fowkes

I just happened to check Olivia Wilder's webpage because I listen to her shows on podcast form time to time. Come to find out David Selby is scheduled to be on her show 12/08/09 at 10pm, although I have yet to figure out what time zone and I didn't see any details on DS's personal site.

Here's a link for more info:

If you can't catch it streaming,  Olivia archives everything so it will be available for download. Sometimes she takes calls for guests, depending on how long they are available. Just thought I'd pass along the information. She's a fellow Y&R fan  [santa_thumb] and a funny gal. It should be an interesting interview.

Wow! That's an interesting take on the character. I only know her from that old show "Martial Law".  [ghost_smiley]

Midnite, I am baffled  [ghost_cheesy], what does Kelly Hu have to do with DS? Was she in the WB pilot?

Lol markyboo. Sounds like something close to a mix of Twilight and Everwood...although I don't know anything about those  series. Just going on my impressions.  [ghost_cheesy]

I just think EW loves to intentionally be so controversial thereby creating more publicity for themselves in an attempt to sell more copies. But they are making a joke of themselves in the meantime imo.

Abso-freakin-lutely. I used to be a loyal subscriber but haven't read the mag for at least two years. Another thing they do that irks me is, like nightshadow said, they contradict themselves all the time. In a movie preview issue they'll print how great upcoming releases are, and then review them and trash them like they knew all along they weren't great 3 or 4 months later.

The writers and editors there desperately want to be hipsters and it shows.

I think you guys are right about the older guy being there. I wonder if he took that mug to the convention?  [ghost_cheesy]

Yes, IrishCoda. Fingers and toes crossed!  I know I'm a little late to the party on this but I have to comment.  Good for you for following through with an email AND a letter. So many times people "let things go" but this really is unacceptable.

For a fest that has been around for some time not to have a plan in place for people with disabilities is ridiculous. And its one thing to not have it set up but then to basically dismiss your issue at the event TO YOUR FACE is just awful.   [ghost_mad]  You and hubby are fans just like everyone else and deserve to be treated with decency. Never mind you paid to be there and had to spend time and money on travel. I'd love to know if anyone else over the years with issues has complained  loudly enough because it seems not to be a concern by the folks running things.

Anyway, please keep us updated on what happens with this. I don't have a disability but it makes me angry knowing if I did that I would have gotten that kind of treatment.

I would love to see shots of Bewitched Shadows!  Sounds fab.

Me too. It made think what if Nicolel Kidman were dropped into the world of Dark Shadows. Her remake of Bewitched was okay, but she was very cute in it. No chance I think of her being in the Depp movie though.  [ghost_tongue]

Thanks Midnite. Kathryn is one of the stars I'd like to meet.  I'm never in the right city though  [ghost_tongue]

With only 4 hours to sign I bet she'll be swamped.
