and what about in the 1795 scene where vicki is shot as bradford and the jailer struggle for the gun, all of a sudden you hear that canned rumblings from down the stairs...and what about the generic tire squeal and crash as vicki and barnabas almost run jeff clark over?

after hearing about what a tightwas dc was, i am sure he wouldnt wanna pay an actor just to do the voice over.  I noticed something else, that if an actor was in the last scene of the day, but was not going to be in the next days script, they would always make an exit, like eve the other day screaming "someone is gonna die in this house, tonight" can think of a lot of occasions that occured, but today, i noticed stokes was there when barnabas began choking, and the show ended, but wasnt there when they redid the scene the following show.

when barnabas declared to willie that he would "do away with dr. hoffman, now" and the fly began to interfere with his performence, he gently waved at it, instead of getting the collinsport gazette and attacking it  

thayer david made an impressive looking vampire in one of those movies.  if he can suck down blood like he can sherry, u would be a goner in seconds.

i am sure its similar at the "big house" also. several times i have seen actors running up those steps, only to be caught stopping, and turning around.

My Mom is visiting this week, so after we watched Dark Shadows on SciFi, we continued on with my MPI tapes. In one of the episodes we watched, Nicholas got off the table in the foyer, and  there was a loud creek!

there is another furniture cracking scene coming up from 1897..tim shaw is trying to make evan hanley drink the poison, and in the struggle, you can hear the chair that hanley is sitting in start cracking and falling apart, and him going backwards, and the drink spilling all over him...and in the very next scene after commercial, can see the stain all over the suit of hanley
