Oh, Carol, my mother would never go on those trips or the lunch thing but was first in line to flash the senior discount at any store we went too.  We know every stores senior days.  My day was 51 when my younger sister was born.  He won for having the youngerst child at his high school reunion.  He will be gone l4 years on Saturday and I still miss him.  I have wonderful memories.  We have kept him alive for my younger two who never got to know him.

My mother is 75 and still won't go on the senior trips or go to senoir llunches.

How about the alter boys who just got carried away with the ringing of the bells.  One of my sister's friend got asked to leave because he could not control the bell it had a will of it's own.

My son gave up alter serving I think the priest is glad he was always playing an imaginary baseball game while on the alter. I have to admitt we are not the most well behaved family at mass.

Ben,
My husband got a kick out of my telling him about the DS names following me, but he thought I was nuts posting it.  I am the "old one" at work and even though I like the kids I work with we don't have any pop culture in common.  I hate rap music and reality TV is never on when I am near the set.  They don't get my jokes or my sense of humor.

HappyBat,  I have to admitt I am a sucker for the old movies too.  Favorite channels are TCM and AMC.  I hate that AMC runs commercials now, they are beconing as bad as TBS.

I had only seen Chicago and Catch Me If You Can.  I enjoyed both films.  The truth comes out I love musicals.  I would like to see Chicago on stage to run a comparison.  My younger sister loves the play and was so-so on the movie.

TCM has been great this month with March Month of the Oscars.  At last something to watch at night.

Anyone watch Gaslight last night?  Great film.

Could not agree more.  I also enjoyed the conversation the siblings had in the drawing room.  The expressions on all the actors faces were priceless.

When in the group of his peers he will get to take part in the count the number of medications he needs to take to maintain his lovely form.

He will have to remember where to find the depends in the local food store or pharmacy.

Birdie--all this talk scares me.  It is too funny..  Is it a sign that I now like Frank Sinatra when I never gave a hoot about him before?

Let's face it Aristede is just plain dumb!  I don't think for one minute that Petofi really plans on bringing him along for the ride.  Once he is finished using him it is bye-bye-baby.  Good luck kid.

It is funny I never mentioned this before there is a woman who works for the same company as me named Josette.  The first time I met her I of course smiled in my head.  Yesterday, I helped a woman named Magda, I am not kidding.  Today, I answer the phone and a man name Dan Curtis asked to speak to the manager.  Too werid, hug.  My co-workers just didn't get it when I started to laugh.  By the way the woman named Magda was very nice.  Dark Shadows follows us in small ways through our daily lives.
