Current Talk '03 I / Re:Does He or Doesn't He?
« on: April 19, 2003, 09:01:20 PM »
I was always under the impression that the good professor knew alot more than he cared to admit to the folks at Collinwood.  I think he was better off keeping a distance and not getting too involved in their crazy problems.  He sort of reminded me of the "helper" who always stood in the backround and only gave advice when asked.

Yes i believeyou are right but if you compare the mpi tapes with the sci fi version, you'll begin to notice that there are alot of little things that seem to be cut out of the show.  And it's getting more noticable all the time, very sad.

Thank you!!  I've been looking all over the place for this link!  I've heard so much about it on other groups but no one had the right link.

Thanks!!

Current Talk '03 I / Re:Two Josette's Music Boxes?
« on: April 19, 2003, 08:53:10 PM »
I believe that the first music box tune was much more harmonous, with more a musical backround sound to it with more instruments playing.

The second one was a bit more "tinkling" and you didn't hear the whole muscially melody playing. It was more like maybe one or two instruments instead of whole band sound.

Alot of people prefer the first one but I have always liked the second one, tinkling music and all.  I prefer to hear the melody of the tune without all of that band music in the backround, which is what the first one reminded me of.

Calendar Events / Announcements '03 I / Re:THE FEST

I would love to get there this year but with the dates and location I think I'll have to pass this one up.  For those of you who are going for the first time, you'll have a blast!  Wish I could go though but with kids starting school and college just around that time I find it highly unlikely.

Testing. 1, 2, 3... / changing password?
« on: April 19, 2003, 08:44:31 PM »
I've been trying to change my password from the one that was sent to me (can never remember it) to a much easier one that I can remember all the time. I read that you need to go to your profile and you can do it there but when I try to do that it says only registered members can do this or something to that extent.  So what can I do now?

Deb,

Welcome to the forum - and congratulations on registering during the brief period when it was possible while we were upgrading the system. ;) [thumb]

If you check out "Quoting Text - Help!" ( currently on page 6 of this board ), "Quotes" ( currently on page 8 ) and "Quote Test" and "quote problem" ( currently on page 12 ), hopefully they'll help you learn how to use the quote feature. ( Well, that and the fact that I've changed all the buttons back to English. ;D ) But please feel free to post another question here if you need additional help.

I hope you enjoy your time with us. And please post often. :)

Thank you! I think I got it!!

Actually I had been trying to register for awhile now and each time kept getting the same message about not accepting new members, so I must have caught you at just the right moment, which was lucky for me.

Thanks for welcome!

Hello Im new here and I was trying to figure out all the different things that you have available here on the board. I've read over the help section but I still can't figure out how to use the quoting box?  Any help would be appreciated, thanks,
Deb
