Barnabas has the veneer of gentlemanliness, but you KNOW he's probably been in several brawls in his life; he grew up in raw times and lived through the Revolutionary War, albeit as a child.  I have no doubt that, if necessary, Barnabas could kick Jeff's butt easily.  And since Jeff pisses me off sometimes, I wish Barnabas would!

I only wish Grayson Hall had given up smoking sooner.  I always wince when I see her with a cigarette in her mouth.  

I think on soaps in the era of the 60's, only BAD characters smoked, and perhaps they wanted to present Julia as a bad girl (remember, she was slated to be killed off).  Once the show returned from the past, she was morphing into Barnabas' friend/confidant, and they changed her persona by mostly eliminating the smoking.  She was only smoking in this scene because of extreme nervousness and stress.

one of the things about 'touring' is lots of 'wait time' - I have read many of the paperbacks again during the last few weeks - but it has also given me a lot of time to consider the next 'publications'.

I believe my 'return' will be 'The Little Monster Monthly' [and he WILL be punished!!!!!!!!] ;

I wonder how much of this new and seemingly docile Willie is just because he's smart enough to play that angle.  I never quite bought the total amnesia thing that he did when he was hospitalized "are you doctors?" It seemed a wee bit too convenient.

To me he was the only good thing about the 91 series!

I always saw Willie has a lost type that was easily taken in (ie Jason)he basically has a decent heart and it comes out when he tries to help Maggie. as the story progressed he did come to care for Barnabas and Julia
as family so I don't really think he had much of a family
