Barnabas has the veneer of gentlemanliness, but you KNOW he's probably been in several brawls in his life; he grew up in raw times and lived through the Revolutionary War, albeit as a child.  I have no doubt that, if necessary, Barnabas could kick Jeff's butt easily.  And since Jeff pisses me off sometimes, I wish Barnabas would!

Love, Robin

That is funny Robin have to agree if the cane doesn't do it can see him kicking the stuffing out of old Jeff
but " watch the hair"

I only wish Grayson Hall had given up smoking sooner.  I always wince when I see her with a cigarette in her mouth.

I think on soaps in the era of the 60's, only BAD characters smoked, and perhaps they wanted to present Julia as a bad girl (remember, she was slated to be killed off).  Once the show returned from the past, she was morphing into Barnabas' friend/confidant, and they changed her persona by mostly eliminating the smoking.  She was only smoking in this scene because of extreme nervousness and stress.

Love, Robin

think you are right Robin! but i'd probably need
one too if i was making that creation too and i've
never smoked!

My, my, my, Willie's tight pants and where on EARTH are you people looking?  For shame!  What would Sarah Johnson say?

I wonder what Willie would say if he knew that his master, Barnabas, was once married to the dark-haired vixen?  Would the thought of sloppy seconds appeal?

Oh, now *I* am going to have to discipline myself, and I have no idea what the Jewish equivalent to Bob's three Hail Marys, two Our Fathers, and an Act of Contrition would be!

Honestly, people, let's get our minds out of the gutters!

Love, Robin, thinking that on second thought, the gutter can be a mighty fun place to hang out!

Heehee
we seem to have a thing about tight pants or trousers around here! But i missed that episode and forgot to tape it Boohoo! have to wait and see if he wears them again!

Well, Rainey my friend, I've got good news and bad news.  Next to these episodes, I thought that some of the scenes in the 1970 storyline (David and Hallie, Quentin and the lilacs) were pretty horrendous.  Donna McKechnie's Amanda Harris made me want to scream too.  However, those episodes won't run for at least a couple more years.

ProfStokes

Yes it does!
Ha ha I'm with you Prof S
Hallie/Carrie and Amanda are far worse makes me want to scream and shriek like Julia when I HEAR them!

one of the things about 'touring' is lots of 'wait time' - I have read many of the paperbacks again during the last few weeks - but it has also given me a lot of time to consider the next 'publications'.

I believe my 'return' will be 'The Little Monster Monthly' [and he WILL be punished!!!!!!!!] ;

rocking on,
Ringo [jester]

I wonder how much of this new and seemingly docile Willie is just because he's smart enough to play that angle.  I never quite bought the total amnesia thing that he did when he was hospitalized "are you doctors?" It seemed a wee bit too convenient.

Luciaphil

You'r right Luciaphil he is after all a con man!

Roger probably dreams of counting the Collin's money and sherry!
David dreams of going to school and living the life of
a typical 10 year old boy not one stuck  in that old house!

I always saw Willie has a lost type that was easily taken in (ie Jason)he basically has a decent heart and it comes out when he tries to help Maggie. as the story progressed he did come to care for Barnabas and Julia
as family so I don't really think he had much of a family
