No joke!  To this day she insists that when Sam died he said, "Where is it! Where is it!" and he didn't.  Quite obviously she's confused about what probably happened in Dress Rehersal and NOT the actual taping.

Perhaps Ford was referring to the TelePrompter?   >:D

SPOILER ALERT?

Pardon my confusion - I haven't actually got to 1971/1840 yet, but am I understanding correctly that there are some actions taken by Barnabas, Julia and/or Stokes in the 1840 story that ought to have actually negated much of what happened vis a vis Barnabas in 1967-71?  I ask because a poster above commented on Liz recognizing Barnabas when he Julia and Stokes return to '71 via the stairway in time.

Any information on how the Replacement Disc for Set 1 is being handled vis a vis those who already have the set?  I Ching mentioned getting it recently.

Thanks! :)

Thanks very much for the update!

Hmmm, I had also emailed MPI about the error but have not yet heard from them.  I wonder if the replacements are being sent to everyone who is a member of the club automatically or just those that have asked?

Barnabas has an odd way of folding his arms sometimes. Most folks tend to lay one hand over the other near the area of the abdomen just below the navel. Barnabas has a tendency to fold his hands higher, at about the level of the diaphragm. It gives him a slightly effeminate, dignified posture.
I've noticed Joan Bennett do this frequently.  Perhaps it's an old fashioned stage posture?

Dr Hoffman's first bestseller, now a major motion picture (with apologies to Julia99)

"Dr. Lovestrange or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Barn"

In a parallel time continuum, there is a book laying on a table in a TV studio's writer's Bullpen:

"The Big Book of Horror Stories" by Various

"The Wicked Woman Tarot" by N. DuPres (Trans. by TE Stokes)

"Liz was not at all in agreement when Roger rudely remarked that the people in Collinsport were so dim-witted that he could walk naked waving his 'jolly Roger' right through the middle of town and not one of them would even notice."

Julia:  As God is my witness, I'll never buy groceries or pay rent again!

That one would certainly seem to have been completely true!  [lghy]  If only we could all find some convenient way to get similarly ensconced in some family's mansion and seemingly without even the slightest hint of anyone asking us to leave! Though, of course, it does have its certain drawbacks, like vampire attacks, zombie kidnappings, and unpredictable time traveling trips, to name but a few.  [b003]
Well, she is also the family drug dealer!! ;)

As God is my witness, I'll never let Willie do that thing with his tongue again!

oh, and another question about the doll:  do you know if it is just a Barbie body with a Kate jackson head stuck on?

I would guess so as it would certainly save on overhead... :)

I think he's one of the most talented actors working today, and he's one of my favorites, and I'm sure he would do a fine job as Barnabas, but I just think he's too pretty and too young looking.
I kind of had that impression about Alec Newman, but not having seen the WB Pilot I can't say for sure.  Was his younger look a barrier to suspension of disbelief?

If Depp played Victoria Winters, that would open up some very interesting possibilities as to her parentage.

I like it. I like it a lot.

 :)
You know, so do I!  He already has ample experience being a pirate drag queen...  ;D

Oh!  I had taken it as read that Depp would be / would want to star as Barnabas ...

In inherited from my aunt a boat load of period doll dress patterns made for the Barbie type doll.  I will see if I can find them ....
I found the patterns, and unfortunately, I was mistaken.  The dress patterns are period only in that they were new circa 1950! Though there is one wedding dress pattern is a close enough match that I might be able to adapt it without too much trouble and I have spent a productive afternoon skimming thought a number of dvd's to render a pretty good sketch (if I say so myself) of what her maroon gown looked like.  May I ask, where can one look for episodes of Daphne with the cape?

I will be completely honest and say that while I know My way around a sewing machine I have never attempted to sew clothes for a Barbie, though your (frankly brilliant) idea of using the Mattel Kate Jackson as Daphne makes me eager to see if I can do it.  Has anyone else sewed Barbie/Doll clothes? How difficult is it?
