The whole Adam storyline is my least favorite as well, but I'm being a wicked boy and having fun with it.  I just can't help thinking (as we did a few posts back) about how it relates to Mel Brooks' little classic film.  When Adam broke into Sam's house, poor blind Sam stumbling all over the place, all I could think of was:

Sam:  "What's your name?"

Adam:  "Mmmmm!"

Sam:  "I didn't quite get that."

Gerard (Trying to Turn a Lemonstory Into Lemonaide)

Let me know how you do it I've never been able to stand Adam
Spoiler

It only gets worse esp when Eve is around!
have about 50 episodes until TOm Jennings
though!

Heh heh, thanks for the requests; it's all much appreciated. Since I don't have anything ready as far as the synopsis goes at this point, I'll just post a note here when I do, and then perhaps put it on the Web space as well. I can't promise anything very soon, so y'all just gonna have be patient and don't hold yer breath too long. That can lead to unpleasant side effects. ;)

Luciaphil, I'm so glad you managed to find "The Collected Ghost Stories".....and that you enjoyed "The Room in the Tower".

Personally, I found "The Thing in the Hall" the creepiest of the bunch.  Hmmmmm, I just might go re-read it now.... ;)

I liked 1897,1840,1795 and some of the present
hated the PT ones too plus the Adam storyline and the dream curse

Current Talk '02 I / Re: DS - Appropriate for Children?
« on: June 05, 2002, 11:30:54 PM »
i was not forbidden to watch the show as a child and i never remember being afraid of anything in the show
my mother just thought it was junk and couldn't
believe Joan B would be in it!
my daughter laughs at it when she walks into the room
but Bambi upset her for hours after his mother was killed!
i tend to keep them away from violent movies and watch
the ratings!
There was a movement to ban the show because of the occult storylines but my mother just laughed it off and considered the show harmless

jennifer

i tend to view things first (read the Harry Potter series
after all that hype)anfd then decide if my kids ashould view it agree with Rainey talking usually works and
i know most of the time what my daughter can handle

My wife does a Julia impersonation and I think she's quite good at it.  Growing up, she and her brother   acted out parts from the show and she tells me they used to stick macaroni in their teeth to act as fangs.  I also play out scenes in my head (I do this with tv, film and also books I read when I want a scene or passage to go the way I want it to - I always have Julia taking up with Tom Jennings and telling Barnabas to push off)

HeeHee i wouldn't have looked at old Barnabas if
Tom was around either Julia 99! great idea Julian!

Joe that always drives me crazy! Sometimes after a movie  when you go the look to see who played what
and IT IS ALL SQUASHED UP! >:(
