It's funny really. Oberon tells Barnabas outright he's pretty much an outsider and it occurs to me that it's something that holds true for the character on the whole. Barnabas has always been the outsider.

Im not to sure but was that suppose to be Oberon?  How come Barnabas didn't know him then?  He asked him who he was when he appeared to him.  Plus it didn't look like the first Oberon at all, but they could have easily replaced him since he doesnt have such a big part.

I like these comments of yours. Just found this part of the forums board too and I really enjoy these!

I'm right there with all of you - Don Briscoe is just a total hottie.  And he is looking better than ever lately - I think it's a combination of his hair being a bit longer, those sexy sideburns...and maybe it's just me - but his acting seems to be a bit more confident.

Ah yes, Don Briscoe c. 1969...he can darken my shadows anytime!   [lick]

I am with you Cassandra Blair!!  I don't know what it is but lately I've been noticing him alot more than usual!  Is it the hair, sideburns or just plain ole hormones, he's definetely hotter now than I can surely remember!  [kaiokn]  [kaiokn] (hey, I just noticed these extra icons!!!  cool!!)

I'd say Julia is a pretty lucky gal these days!  She's either biding her time between the very handsome Grant/Quentin or the sexy & good looking Chris Jennings!!  Who needs Barnabas when you got these two??! ;)

I haven't seen this storyline since way back when but you know,  I think that now after seeing this again for the second time around that I find it is all not that bad.  Im really starting to appreciate everyones good acting this time around also and I find Barnabas to be really great at doing his evil thing here.
Also Elizabeth is great at portraying the evil woman.

Whats good about it is that we're seeing some of the actors, who to us have been fairly good kind caring people,  Elizabeth, Barnabas, (sort of) Megan and Philip were okay when they first arrived.  Now, they're just the opposite of good here and I think thats whats keeping us all hooked here.

We're so use to see folks like Angelique play the bad parts, but now we're getting a taste of something else here and its facinating to watch!

Ah true, but at least Barnabas was faithful for years and years!

Or, at least until the next sweet young pretty thing came along. ;)

This is where i get confused about CDT's lifetime. . wasn't he just pulled into the future during one of Petofi's experiments with the I-Ching?  I didnt see the episods 'cuz of NYC nada-SCIFI land that  I live in. . .but that's what i inferred from some of the posts?? ???

When the Count Petofi had Charles Tate go check out the future for him it was just a kind of experiment so Petofi could make sure that he himself was in no kind of danger and couldn't be harmed from getting the wrong hexagram.  So he used Tate as a guiena pig as he also did with alot of others, such as Beth, etc.

However, Tate was lucky enough to have found the right hexagram to go to the future and came back to tell Petofi so.  But he Tate never stayed there. His spirit returned to his body right after this.

I don't know about you all but I surely cannot tell that he's wearing a wig.  This was news to me.  I remember way back when at around age 14 alot of the boys my age had hair just like that.  I also think his hair looks natural as a blonde.  I would have never guessed that his own hair color is brown.  I'll have to watch more closely tomorrow.

As for hairdying, I agree with you Miss_Winthrop on that. I wouldn't be too happy on letting my young have his hair dyed.  When my daughter was 16 and wanted to dye it one time and I told her no way.  You'll have plenty of time for that when you're older plus the chemicals in hairdye aren't all that safe.   ;)

I love seeing Elizabeth in these scenes!  She plays the "evil" woman part out so good!!  I hated seeing her as the helpless victim all the time, especially where Laura was concerned.  And as Naomi Collins, she was also a victim, but a victim of her own demons such as  becoming an alcoholic and not being able to stand up to those around her.  This time she's the boss and she seems to be loving every minute of it!

I think she relished playing the stronger woman after she got a taste of it with Judith Collins.   I think she's great at it too!

Im glad that its not going to be a permanent thing here too.  It appears on every page for me and not just the home page and this has been slowing my computer down.  I have Quick Time already and yet the message still appears. >:(

Right on Julia99!!
I think she'd (Julia) would be more happy with Quentin anyway.   When it comes to picking his women, Quentin's tastes are at least a bit more diviserfied than that of Barnabas, who only chooses to love a woman who died 200 years ago.

I found this whole Tate with the loudspeaker thing rather silly to say the least.  What was all that suppose to be?  Was he trying to scare away any unwanted guests who may decide to pay him a visit or has he simply lost his mind?

I kind of opt for the latter.    ;D

LOL! They are that Gerard, but I guess I really cant complain too much because they are very good to me and since my family are all down south its comforting to know that there are good people around me.  They're always sending me up their very good home cooked meals too!

I'd say you also got yourself a pretty good tenant there yourself.  Anyone who can do all that for you has got to be a good person.  I imagine it's hard to come by good tenants if you're a homeowner.  My landlord told me that the person who occupied my apt before I did was terrible.  It was a young couple who fought constantly all the time and at all hours of the night. They said they'd come home dead drunk and then fight.  And they were always late with the rent.  So you certainly are blessed to come across a good tenant. :)

Well, I for one have watched "Scare Tactics"...and for one, I don't think it THAT funny.  More be they're (SciFi) desperate, you know, they want everyone to see the "commercial" and tune in to "Scare Tactics".

Is this show still on?  From the looks of it I wouldn't be suprised if it's been booted off the air already.
I also dont think theres anything funny about this show and I keep wondering if heaven forbid someone who happens to be the unlucky victim of this scare tactic happens to have a heart condition or something worse, this cant be too good for them!
