Close enough (I think she said "kin"). :) However, I chose Julia's explanation over Magda's actual curse for two reasons:
The first was that when this topic came up on the original VN board, someone (I think it might have been Cassie Rademacher) provided a link to a Web site all about the Romano clan. Somewhere on the site (which I can't seem to locate on my own -- damn VN for losing all those great posts!) it was explained how the Romano tribe considered (considers?) the eldest son to be THE male descendant and any other sons were (are?) insignificant also rans (I'm paraphrasing, but that's the gist). So, the information on that site cast considerable doubt as to whether Magda's curse would have affected any but the oldest son in succeeding generations.
And the second was that the curses on DS seem like they can't always be interpreted literally. Take Angelique's curse on Barnabas, for example. She stated that anyone who loves Banabas will die. However, Julia, who clearly loves Barnabas in every time period/band they travelled to, never became a victim of the curse. And then there's Joshua. While it's true that Joshua said he may not have showed his love to Barnabas, his actions during the end of the 1795/96 storyline clearly showed that Joshua did indeed love his son. So, by virtue of that fact, he should have become the curse's victim, too - yet he didn't.

Mike it seems to me that Quentin's son died then Lenore had daughter who married Jennings then had Chris, Tom and Amy.Chris was the eldest so he was cursed. I suppose he could have been elder twin but
i think that if he was a twin Chris would have said when everyone has reaction to him "I'm Tom's twin" putting it together  this way it is starting to make sense to me which is a truly scary thought!

That's how I was beginning to feel this time around Joeytrom.  She really seemed to be trying too hard.

Well, I guess we could look at it this way...her hyper poodle version of Vicki seems to fit Davis' manic Peter/Jeff character much better. Can you imagine how tense (and dense)  their children would be? They'd be running all over the estate clutching their hair and yelling "I don't understand, I don't understand, I DON'T UNDERSTAND! Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!" - right into the sea... [nuts]

you know she really does  go with Jeff  Clark better
Castle Bee  LOL i always thought AM's Vicki was too good for him but this one suits him! Could also see their off spring
like you described, with voices like Hallie /Carrie could be used as secret weapons in war! anyone would surrender after hearing them

Hey, ya gotta love that blue sailor suit!  By the way, IMHO, KLS looks far lovelier with the dark brown hair she was sporting today, than that reddish brown coif she had the other day.

Bob the Bartender, hair color consultant to Phyliss Diller and Mrs. Slocumbe.

she does look better with darker hair Bob

Um, you did.  Really.  :)

Do your kids watch The Fairly Odd Parents on Nick?  The little boy calls his babysitter "Icky Vicky", and one episode has a whole song number with that title...

Hey Vicky, you're so so icky,
just the thought of being around you makes me oh so sicky.
Hey Vicky, won't you please explain
why you get so much enjoyment out of causing kids pain...

Hmmm.  :D

(lyrics provided by my daughter)

really Midnite but i knew i got it from somewhere
(my original thought days are slim these days)heehee
my daughter watches that show and i remember she told me it after i told her i almost named her Victoria
it suits this Vicki though and i agree it is the voice!

No duh, Nicholas! Golly, that was a quick deduction, what was your first clue?

I've never been able to figure out why DB was so much better at being Chris Jennings than Tom. In today's show, he was both,  hamming it to the hilt as Tom and great as Chris. Did ya' catch the tongue wiggle? And to think that noone else ever added that quintessential thespian touch!

OK, I can understand Barney getting all protective of Vicky, nothing new there. BUT, doesn't it strike a false note when he gets on his high horse about Maggie??!!! Puh-leeze! I wish I could have bitch slapped him!

I think they were my two greatest DS moments
the tongue wiggle and a double view of DB!!!
truly was one of the better days on the show IMHO!
Heavenly!

Things are working much better tonight. Most of the problems so far have been from people who weren't sure how to get into the chatroom or how to type messages once they got in. A couple of later arrivals said the room was very slow for them, but that hasn't been the case with most. Unfortunately, slowness is a fact of life when it comes to some chat connections. :(

i had those problems but it took me a while to get that i had to go in IE(another reason to drop AOL)then how to post etc but think i finally got it and can't wait until next one

if i recall, the red sox had a good lead going into that last inning, i think buckner mess up was the last of the mess ups, but because his was the last one, its the one that is remembered....as a life long dodger fan, billy buck was a good ball player, a hustler, and to pin all that mess on him is not fair, imo.

most people don't blame him Trip around here but blame the manager he shouldn't have been in!he could barely walk at that point! i agree he was a great player
and i blame the manager and Calvin S and maybe the fates!
we were only up a few runs!

i know Bill B took a lot of heat esp  where he lived here
