Does anyone know when her episode will be?  I'm not planning on watching the series, but intend to look that one up.  I tried checking to see if there was any information about upcoming episodes, but couldn't find anything.

Calendar Events / Announcements '13 II / Night Gallery with John Karlen
« on: September 27, 2013, 07:15:31 AM »
I didn't know anything about this before it happened.  I watch Mission Impossible every night on MeTV and as the credits were rolling for Night Gallery before it came on, I thought I saw the name John Karlen.  I hurriedly rewound it and it said "John Karlen as Ed."  I have no idea what the episode was or anything else.

I tried looking up the schedule and found the name, Through a Flame Darkly, but I then tried looking that up and can't find an episode listed with that title.  What's funny is that Tyne Daly is on Mission, interesting, given their Cagney and Lacey together.

By the way, when one looks up someone on imdb, it always lists one thing that they are prominently known for as an identifier.  For Karlen they do have DS, which is interesting given how much more recent as well as successful that C&L was.

Marge honey, you would LOVE maybe the second or so episode of THRILLER ever produced.  It was a star vehicle for Constance Ford, the evil frigid b-i-t-c-h in THE SUMMER PLACE (sternly instructing a pouting Sandra Dee--"you gotta HOOK a man--you can't just let him kiss and MAUL you like that!").  I don't recall the plot details and I am looking forward to watching it again at some point.  I just remember she plays this conniving woman scheming to get her hands on some money, there's a big old mansion, and a plot more reminiscent of ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS than the supernatural stuff referenced in this thread.

Because of the timing of when it's on, I mostly miss the beginning of it, but end up seeing most of the rest.  Even with that, a lot of them have been very good.  I saw most of the one you're referring to.  I just looked it up - it's the 3rd episode, "Worse than Murder."  By now I don't remember much about it, but if it's the one I'm thinking of, it was good.

It's also On Demand.  I hadn't really realized what this was until I saw the repeat listed and figured that's what was being talked about here!  The timing of the repeat wasn't too convenient, so I checked out On Demand and saw it earlier today.  On my Comcast system, it's only available until the 23rd.

I really didn't want to get "stuck" with another series to watch!  But, I liked this, so, I'm probably stuck!!

I'm not sure I understand.  It looks like at least 4 or 5 posts are missing.  Do you mean that with the missing one, the sequence of letters wouldn't work, and so all the subsequent posts are also deleted?

Thank you, all!  I didn't do anything special, but made sure to eat some things and do some things that I particularly like, so it was a nice day. [spin]

MeTV has just started showing Thriller in the early morning hours.  It's a story anthology series (I had never heard of it before) with Boris Karloff giving the introduction for each episode.
