Julia does seem to look much better these days, less tired and stressed out.  I had just attributed this to her not having to worry over Barnabas and not always running over to him at all hours of the night.  ;)

And what's ironic.............kinduva spoiler here..............is that this time Angelique plays the good character and heroine who even takes great risks and personal sacrifices!  Virtually everyone's personalities have been turned upside-down for this plot, and that's another one of the reasons why I really do like the whole Leviathan storyline.
Gerard

Yes Gerard! You're right,  I had mentioned this in another post on how the good ones are turning bad and the bad ones are changing for the better.   Angelique is really a mystery though! Who'd ever thought of her changing her ways for good?
I never really thought about all this before but now that you had mentioned it,  this does make the storyline much more interesting to follow.

Too true Gerard.  I started to laugh at your post, but then I remembered the large check I mailed out on April 15th and started to cry.  I wonder if Barnabas had to file a tax return?

LOL!! That is too funny Julian!

It does make one wonder though what the purpose behind the leviathans actions really are?  Like Josette had mentioned, first they order Barnabas to kill Julia,  then David reads the good book and tells Elizabeth its okay not to kill her!
It sounds like they're a confusing bunch with the only purpose in mind is surviving, ruling the world and taking over.  It also seems they'll lie about anything, even whats suppose to be in their book just to keep the deceit going long enough to get what they want.

Yes, wasn't that something when Sky showed Julia the portrait of his wife and it turned out to be none other than Angelique!!!

I think we are all going to be in for a big suprise too where shes concerned!!  I think thats whats good about this Leviathan story, the face that you never know who's gonna be naughty or who's gonna be nice!

I have to agree with you both here.  He does play a good drunk doesnt he.  Some actors tend to look so foolish at trying to look intoxicated but David plays it off so well and very natural.  Of course it doesnt hurt that he's so good looking too. ;)

I would have loved to have seen that one also.  Too bad it was never incorporated into the show.

Current Talk '03 I / Introduction/OT
« on: May 02, 2003, 08:19:33 PM »
Hi All,  since I am pretty new here I thought I would intoduce myself.  My name is Debra, Im 38 yrs. old & married with four kids.

I live in New York State and work part time as an accountant.  I am Italian (was born in Sicily) but came here a very young at age 2 with my parents, brother & sister.

I started watching DS as a teenage at age 14 and fell for it right away!  I also watched the 1991 series faithfully, but found it just couldn't compare to the original. (remakes never really do compare)
I was overjoyed when it resurfaced again in the early 80's on a cable network station called The New Jersey Network, but sadly that only lasted a short time.  Now that I found it again these past few years on Scifi Im estatic to say the least!    I love this show and hope it remains on the air for a very long time!  And Im happy to be here in this wonderful site!

Anyway,  I love these kind of introductions so if anyone else wants to join in and tell me about themselves please feel free to do so!

You're the REAL Diva in that photo, Midnite!

I notice how tightly gritted Dear Donna's teeth are in that smile.  She's fighting with every inch of ladylike self-control not to shove you out of the camera frame at the last second!

LOL!!!!

I enjoy his acting also.  He especially does the evil thing so naturally.  We have watched him since he first started his acting on dark shadows, at which Im sure he was around age 9 up until now and when you look back over the years, you can really see how much he has grown as an actor.

Just wait until 1995, when Julia wears the same outfit, day in, day out for two weeks.  Some dry cleaner, when she returns to 1970, is going to clean up big time.

Someone can have QuickTime installed on their computer, but if the QT plug-in for their browser isn't the latest one, then whenever they visit any Web site that's using a QT ActiveX control, they'll be promted to download it until they actually do.

Oooh, I didnt know that.  I have just assumed that if you already had it on your computer than that was it,. but now this makes sense because they are always updating things and adding new things.
Thank you for filling me in on this. I'll know what to do next time I see a message like that.

Yes Gothick!!  That had to have hit right below the belt with that statement!  But it was the honest truth!

I loved that saying too!!  She shut up pretty fast after that too.

I liked your comments on Barnabas doing a good job at being the leviathans leader.  Its good to see him really get a chance to play out his evil side once again, and this time not being a vampire and doing it!

Also love Elizabeth too!  She's does the evil one so much better.  I bet she loved this part!
