All the scenes mentioned earlier were quite sad.  But the one i guess that gets me is the Barnabas and Vicki car crash, Vicki is injured, Barnabas near death, and Jeff Clark survives without a scratch  :'(  which in turn, because of that, we are introduced to Dr. Lang :'(

There is a scene which Barnabas has given Vickie a history book from the old house, but B was not gonna give it to her, but Vicki sees it dedicated to her, and asks why he wasnt going to give it to her, Burke chimes in that Vicki should get off the "hickory history kick". The expression of Barnabas face is great, it looks as though he looked at the cue card and rolls his eyes at the error. Another one is when Vicki is comforting David because David is frightened of the B portrait, he says the eyes are blaring blazing at him. Next time you watch that scene, watch Vickies face break into a smile, and covers her face to keep from laughing, trying to fight off the giggles.

Speaking of drinks, when Barnabas has his costume party, he offers Roger carrotcup...What in the heck is carrotcup?  It sounds nasty.

"He clings to life with a leech like persistance" was a good one, and willie writing his memoirs was good also.  It is also ironic that B would complain that Willie clings to life, when he himself would do about anything to stay "alive", including knocking off an innocent although meddling David.

Hopefully other fans have collected similar items from the other cast members, and when cloning becomes more acceptable, perhaps a new dark shadows will come out in 100 years, with the same cast!!  [dancing_bones]

It may have been a blessing in disguise that Robert Gerringer was replaced by Peter Turgeon. The Woddard as played by Gerringer seemed like a "favorite uncle" type, while the new Woodard seemed rather snipy, and seemed to have few endearing qualities (imo).  Didnt it seem that once the change in actors occured, that the new doc almost immediatley discovered the secret of Barnabas , which led to his timely devise, demise?? I get the feeling that this would not have been the case had the Gerringer Woodard still been on the show, to violently murder a well liked character may not have set well with the viewers, so with Turgeon, it made it somewhat easier to take. (imo) Makes you wonder how far scripts were written in advance, that if  the doctors killing was already written into the future script, or whether they decided that once the new actor came in, that this characters fate was sealed?

Yeah, i remember that scene, and if i am not mistaken, it went something like this.

A:  This is one strange family you got mixed up with Josette, 60 year old woman that has a son 45 and a daughter thats 10, and that Joshua is a weirdo!!

J: yeah i know, Barnabas tells me he is 26, but he 43 if he is a day, thats ok though, they have $$$$$.

Another bad thing that resulted from the actor that played Jeremiah leaving was the introduction of the guy that played Dr. Lang, he was the voice of Jeremiahs ghost, and was way over the top in trying to warn Vickie about Barnabas after she had returned from 1795... He also played the would-be lawyer for her, till he heard her story about the future.... can still hear that silly "And the last one he will kill is youuu,   youuuuuu ,   YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"""

Have to give it to the Mauseoleum also, several good bloopers, the lights blowing out with king Johnny and Magda covering up,  Barny chasing Angelique around the coffin, to see the stagehand sitting down on a crate, and Willie cracking his head as he exits the secret room.... I always wondered why no one noticed that from the outside the mauseoleum was much larger , but on the inside was maybe half that size...

And lets not forget our neighbors to the north.  When all those planes had to land in Canada, the distraught passengers were welcomed with open arms, and treated like family members.
