O.K.  a little bored tonight so crazy ideas pop into my mind.

The Collins have no TV {that we know about} so what do they do for entertainment go to the Parrell Time Room.   They then set up chairs and watch.  Placing bets on what there counter parts will do, what choices they will make.

RT Quentin screems at PT Quentin  "NO, NO not that ugly plaid jacket with blue pants. Are you color blind?"

Julia shakes her head and thinks thank god I went to med school.

Liz can't understand how she could have married Paul Stoddard in two time bands.

Carolyn looks at Willie in a new light.

Willie looks at Carolyn in a new light.

Roger is glad that he chooses brandy in all time bands

Maggie wishes she had a sister.  And wants to slap her counter part for putting up with that sh**.

David wants to share with Daniel some good tricks to play on other members of his family.  Also wonders why he didn't get the same name or father.

Amy thinks her counterpart is boring.

Prof. Stokes wonders about growing a mustache.

Who knew that the Collins found reality TV 30 some odd years before the rest of America.  Now if only they had kept that secret.

One thing that bothers me, if this is the room that has the secret ability to change and at times carry the wrong people to the wrong time band, why does it not happen more frequently.

Rainey,
I have to comment also on very poor English teachers.  My l4 year old had one that was so bad this year.  One of the many reasons I hate tenure.  The poor excuse saw my daughter reading "The Once and Future King", and told her that he never read it because it was too big and intimitating.  When he assigned a research project he demanded that the students have the same amount of note cards per reference.  Hello, not all books have the same amount of important info.  I know I can't spell for beans but I swear I could have taught the class better.

MB,
You rock.  It really is good to get involved and help someone out.  You do it everyday here and even out in the "real" world.

I like Circut City better than Best Buy.

Cute story Anubis,
That biography mentioned that because of the movie where Don ameche starred as Alexander Gram Bell, phones were often refered to as Ameche's. I never heard it refered to as that. What this has to do with DS I don't really know. Amazing how these small bits of info. get stuck in our brain.

That whole show had me and my kids arguing about who was on that so called list and who was not.  Truthfully, I could only handle a couple of minutes of the show.  I found it annoying.  What were they basing the criteria on?

Steve, you are quite right  I have to admitt that I have enjoyed some of the l00 best movies, villiansl, etc, etc, etc,  Just so I can scream at the TV when I think they a wrong.  Of course, pat myself on the back when I agree.

WE are all a bunch of old movie buffs here.  My mother had a mad crush on Don Ameche ;D.  I also saw the biography on him a few weeks back.

Tim Stokes kind of reminded me of the GodFather.  Don't see the Ameche thing.

Everyone sees different things in different ways.

Raineypark,
Hearing the news of yet another young person dying in a car wreck breaks my heart.  I feel very sad for your daughter and her classmates.  Everytime I read about one of these horrific accidents my heart breaks for both the parents fo the victim and the one driving the car.  Too many lives cut short or ruined.

I know the young people today have a lot more to deal with in other ways.

Maggie and Carolyn were about my older sisters age.  The way women dressed and the manner in which they spoke leads one to think they are more mature.  That era also was less materalistily spoiled.  Lets face it young people of today have everything.  Not enough of them have to work for it.  My older two children remind me all the time they were of the very few who did not have a car in high school.  In fact they still are dependant on the use of our car until they are out of college and can afford one on their own.  This does not make our life easier but we deal

I checked it out at the market checkout.  They had a special people addition and was disappointed to see Frid was not included.

I know I love Quentin, but hell he needs a good smack.

Yo' Mama! would be tame if my hubby pulled that.

Patti,
I love TCM.  The first channel I surf to.  American in Paris is on now.  We are also fans of the Hitchcock movies
Love antiques so would die for a Hitchcock chair.  Someday might find one I can afford at a yard sale.

Oh Patti,
That really *****!  Thank goodness no one was hurt.  You wonder why you have Panic attacks.  I am a nervous wreck my daughter is off for the weekend with my car.  Driving route 2 to Amherst.  She has never driven that kind of highway driving.  We gave in feeling bad we were away for her birthday on the l6th.  We still have not celebrated and are trying to find a date to sing and open presents.  If we ever decide on what to get her.

My thoughts are with you.
