She always wanted to do a different role, well crazy Jenny would have been that role to stretch...I bet she would have loved the scene where she gets to knock the heck out of Dirk Wilkins.

Another thing about 1795 was Daniel, he didnt make an appearence in the 1795 flashback until very late, but we are supposed to assume he has been there since Millicent got there, as he talked about Vicki like he had been there the entire time....I agree about the later part of 1795   it drug out way too long, as opposed to the first part, where things moved quickly.

Here is another you will come up with Bryk......The portraits of Barnabas look just like him.   The Painting of Angelique looks just like her......In later episodes, the Painting of Quentin will look just like him.......But that painting of Josette looks nothing like her....I am sure that the writers had no idea that when the painting was drawn very early in the show that it would get connected to Maggie, and so on, or they would have it looking much more like Naggie.

my favorite too Josette. i didnt see it in the original run, but after it came out on tape, i thought "this guy can actually be pretty darn good" After watching his "i will be, not sitting here accepting this" and "that night must go nothing wrong" was pleasantly surprised to see him able to spellbound an audience.

Current Talk '04 I / Re: Jonathan Frid Bloopers
« on: June 03, 2004, 09:26:07 PM »
Speaking of bloopers, i found one the other day that i had never noticed.. When Quentin breaks out of jail, and returns to Collinwood , with that play doh face(some of it looks like is hanging from his hair) he talks with Judith for a bit, then the Reverend comes running down the stairs and runs him out...Well, if you notice when Trask hits the bottom of the steps and reaches the entrance to the house, its like he hits a patch of ice, he slides about 2 feet, and its a wonder he is able to stay on his feet...Its not an obvious blooper, but i like discovering these subtle ones.....(about the same time, did you also think that it was strange that no one could recognize Quentin, even with messed up face)??

I believe in 1795, Daniel plans to run away, and Ben Stokes tells him that west was "Indian Country".

Calendar Events / Announcements '04 I / OT - Quentin in Ky. Derby
« on: May 01, 2004, 01:56:35 PM »
Well, thats a bit of a stretch, but Quintons Gold Rush is running in the derby today, and will be generous odds. If anyone is so inclined, toss a couple of bucks on him, cause i dont wanna hear "dang, that Quinton horse won the derby today, if i had only known"!!  ;D
Personally i like Smarty Jones, so if Q runs second  and Smarty wins, i got the exacta..  :)

Calendar Events / Announcements '04 I / OT - Van Helsing
« on: April 13, 2004, 01:40:22 AM »
Been seeing some advertisements for the new movie Van Helsing. It looks like it might be interesting, as Van Helsing not only battles the Dracula, but the Frankenstein monster as well as the Wolfman.  Sounds to me like its a copycat of Dark Shadows!!  ;D

Current Talk '04 I / Re:Angelique..why do people LIKE this woman?
« on: April 05, 2004, 06:22:37 PM »
What i used to wonder about was while ole B was hopping around thru time, why didnt he jump back to 5 minutes BEFORE meeting Angelique, seems he could have avoided a lot of trouble..That romp on the beach with A had to be fun, but the consequences was a bit much.

I always enjoyed Alfred Hitchcock presents, along with the previously mentioned classic series. I really enjoyed the local "monster movies" that usually ran on Saturdays, afternoon and evening..I am sure most cities had a host or a specific name...Having grown up in the Los Angeles area, Chiller was a big hit for me...usually a cheap B movie like "Attack of the 50 foot woman" or "The crawling eye" was on, but heck, as a pre teen, i was spellbound by them..Another one i can remember is a program called "shock theater" i think, so long ago, but thats where i was introduced to the Universal horror movies..

After 209 years in that coffin, i bet the first thing Barnabas asks Willie is if the outhouse is still down the path behind the oldhouse.  Getting caught up in traffic is one thing, over 2 centuries  :o
