I read a fanfic that had Barnabas as Sarah's father.  If the show had stayed true to being a traditional soap, it would have been an interesting plot angle.  I think it would have been even better if Sarah was Joshua's child but not Naomi's.  Joshua's mid-life crisis fling with a younger woman.  It's easier to imagine an old goat creating a child late in life.  Naomi appeared far too old to get pregnant.

didn't Jack N find out his sister was really his mother?
happened a lot in the past!

Watching the current OLTL i can see why soap producers
might not like their shows to be shown again(as in that
soap rerun channell) Vicki now(the same one mentioned
above she is ageless) has just found out she gave birth to twins (with different fathers yet) and one was taken from her by the evil  father(? the devil) i remember when this child was born to Vicki years ago and no way were twins involved! also Vicki gave birth years before to another child but forgot( soaps way of introducing a child to a female star all grown up) am i making any sense???? my point is that the writers Of DS never thought their shows would ever rerun so they played around with past plots as OLTL is doing today!

OT/also remember Tommy Lee Jones(another fav) on OLTL great bad guy!

i always thought that Barnabas was 30 and sarah was 10 and the reason for the large gap was this was the amout of times Namoi and Joshua were "together"hehe
also thought Edward, Judith, Carl and Quentin
which didn't seem strange as my grandmother had two sons after a 15 year gap. also do we know there wasn't two mothers here?

Today since there wasn't any DS(don't ask me why
Sci Fi is running the same old/same old) i watched
Port Charles when the vampire was revealed! the show is actually pretty good and a good "fix" to cure those old no DS blues!
plus i think the mother Elizabeth has  a 1991 DS tie!
also Caleb is a pretty good looking vamp!
i did watch Grayson on OLTL at the time Steve and was pretty excited to see her it was great(been meaning to send you that tape for DB)
OLTL also went back in time once which i'm sure they copied from our favorite show!

Connie, you should come with a warning label!!

raineypark

OMG ROTFL
what a good idea Rainey we do need to give Connie's
posts some kind of rating as well as warning "Not for the meek of heart" today i started the day hearing men on the radio saying how they faked The Big ...well( and this was a sports show) then end it with a mental visual of the state of Quentin's trousers( a man whom i'm sure never faked it!) i'm going to need some of those sedatives just to [sleep] tonight!
and Connie and kuanyin Thank you both for a wonderful laugh after another rotten day at work!
I have to win the lottery soon LOL!

a governess who has too many other things to do,
a looney tune Uncle carl, a crazy aunt locked in a tower, a crazed sociopath wanting to take them away,
another aunt who wants complete control, kinda
makes quentin look like the best of the lot

I have never found Millay all that attractive in either b&w or color. Her face just reminds me of a Barbie doll's. What can I say? A matter of taste?

With Barrett, I think part of the problem is that she's so incredibly fair-skinned. Put the wrong color on her or let the scary make-up person near her and she washes right out. The hair too might be a problem. I fully understand that long straight hair was in style then, by when it's parted at the center, it makes her face look longer.

Bennett could have looked regal in sweats and a t-shirt. I liked the blue and green dress a lot, but the things on the sleeves were ick city.

Luciaphil

agree with all the above i don't like the makeup they use on DM and think Barbie doll just about sums it up!(also can't stand any second Laura is on the screen so that doesn't help really hated that character)
nancy is so fair and really needs her right colors too
not looked washed out as Luciaphil said!
Joan B could wear a sack and look good!Such class!
