I felt sorry for that dingy old man, Ezra. He tripped me out with his two pairs of glasses! Just knew Quentin would off him. He's such a mean ghost, meaner than he looks anyway. Are you having fun Anne? I bet you are!

They need a book like that around there, about ghosts and exorcisms. It should come in mighty handy!

Mrs. Johnson would nominate Harry.

I still remember getting a dart thrown at me when I was a kid in the early 70's and it stuck in my leg. A bunch of us neighborhood kids were playing outside, somebody threw a dart, and of course I was the one who got hit!

I met my little girl's father when he was 59, he's 69 now. Do they ever get over their mid life crisis? I think it's still happening!

Quote
DS' Craig Slocum was born in November, 1940, which would've made him 12 or 13 in 1953.

I just spoke to Jim Pierson, at DCP, he said somebody had the wrong information about the year he was born. So yes it is him, the year of birth is wrong. Things like that happen, it wouldn't be the first time, I'm sure.

Craig Slocum is mentioned in the James Dean Story, by Ronald Martinetti, a biography on actor James Dean's life. Already a legend in his lifetime, Dean became a cult hero in his death. Craig hung out with him when he was 18 years old and was part of his circle. It was a crowd he later cryptically, or maybe not so cryptically, described as "Jimmy's little girlfriends and boyfriends." He is mentioned as Rusty Slocum in the Debts and Acknowledgments section, and Index.

Slocum is quoted as saying, "He had a vital gift for bringing people into their own focus."

"When you were with Jimmy, he could make you feel like you were the one person in his life."

Craig was known to his friends as Rusty because of his red hair. People who have contacted me, who knew Craig personally, said when they knew him, it was always as Rusty. That's a good nickname for him!

I think it's a miracle any of it was recovered, especially all that was!

Color is best, but I'm glad for the kinescopes, better than nothing. Some are better than others. The sound is not too good on some.

Glad you had a great time, Castlebee! I haven't been to concerts since the 80's. Berlin (an 80's band) was playing here in Las Vegas, a couple of weeks ago, would loved to have seen them, but found out about it on the news, while it was going on, and couldn't go.

That was a really good episode. Yes, I thought of "our" Mr. Juggins right away, he's my webmaster, he does a great job on my websites too! I remember these episodes from when I was a kid.

When Mrs. Johnson's candy runs out at Collinwood, Harry will take over and hand out quarters from David's piggy bank.

At the Old House, Willie hands out packs of candy cigarettes.

Blair House - Nicholas hands out Keebler cookies.

I feel the opposite Cassandra. When I was in high school, I was in perfect shape. I jogged, worked out every day, played tennis, etc. I think it's the only reason I survived all the drugs and booze back then. My best friend in high school died not long after we graduated. After having a baby 6 years ago, and surviving a major car wreck just 4 months later, I now have to struggle to get back into shape. It totally messed me up. I do walk 4 miles a day, back and forth from my daughter's school though. It helps!

Sounds like a good idea, kuanyin, as soon as I figure out how to add pictures, never tried it before! It would be nice to add another picture of Craig now and again, and even if someone does have one that I have, I won't mind seeing it again.
