Following 1897...

Dr. Woodard mentioned Mr. Fell when Liz brought Dr. Fisher to check on David.

I liked Dr. Guthrie and thought he should have remained on the show.  From his first appearance, he appears in just about every episode until his last.  Thats a lot of work for a temporary character!

I never understood why they had to kill Natalie (Just have Nathan go to the gallows) and not have Barnabas tell Joshua to free Ben, from which Joshua gives Ben land.  With LE absent, perhaps a temp. recast should have been done for Joshua so it plays out the same way as before.

On other soaps, Vickie's final scene would have been at the end of the episode, not the middle.  Just once I wish they could have ended an episode on a happy note.

Recently in the news there was a man who was pronounced dead and sent to the morgue.  Before the mortician started to work on him, they noticed he was breathing!  This was some time after they pronounced him dead too.

I have a theory...

[spoiler]When Quentin first shows up in 1969, perhaps the Leviathans saw him as a threat and "made" the family remember his hauntings so that he couldn't be trusted.  When they were defeated, the memories were wiped away.[/spoiler]

I read Warren Oddsons essays on 1840 and Parallel Time 1970, but not about 1897.  Does anyone know where to find it?  It isnt in the 1897 Concordance Part 1, perhaps it'll be in Part 2.

Had the internet been around then, DC may have changed his mind about doing PT 1970 and centered the real 1970 on AM's return as another character with some new ones thrown in the mix.

I'm guessing that there may not have been a summer 1970 or 1840/1841 PT either as fans would have insisted on remaining in the present time.  Barnabas & Julia as a couple is possible.
