How Cool! 

I remember when this episode first aired in the sixties. I was so mad at my mom because she said she could not pick me up from school because she had a dentist appointment! I ran as fast as I could and missed the first few minutes. I tuned in just as they took the mask off of Phylis Wick. Geez was I bitter about missing those first few moments. Little did I know that I would get to watch that episode 40 years later. ( Ironically one of my daughters is getting into DS with me ...and she is about the same age I was.. I am an older mamma.)

I remeber being a little confused about who was who since I started watching during 1795.

I loved the silent terror of Barnabus as he realized that in fact Vicky was there.

In all my years following DS I had never heard that Phyllis Wick got pregnant by Nathan. When was this revelation? I thought I knew all the lore. I know that a lot of the story got changed once tney actually went back to 1795. Can any one help me on what episodes or story line that part of the story was introduced.

Yippie! I have collection number 6...wtched it about 6 months ago. I am right on target. Love that storyline!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I  am an "original" Dark Shadows fan. Strarted watching at age 8 during the 1795 storyline. I am going through a tough time in my life and getting back to Dark Shadows after almost 40 years has given me an escape.

I wish I knew about all the fanfest, etc. sooner. I thought I was the only one that was obssesed with the show as a kid!

It has been so much fun reading both books written by Lara Parker and remembering the old plotlines. Does anyone realize that you can watch episode 1-555 for free on guba.com.? It stops in the middle of the Adam plotline. I am going to purchase the next arc of episodes .
