You're a few months too late. :(

I just started helping a friend with a Harry Potter themed RPG in mid-November.

Sorry to hear that (though I love Harry Potter too). If you are not too busy with your other RPG, feel free to stop by my group anytime.

I loved the '91 series and I think it would be very interesting to see how your group continues the story. Unfortunately, the forum keeps me very busy so I don't have the time to participate, but I wish you a whole lot of luck with the RPG.  [thumb]

Will you by any chance be posting game transcripts on your Yahoo group? If you could, I think it would be fun for those of us who can't take part to be able to read them. Back in the early-to-mid '90s, the DS RPG on AOL posted transcripts of their games and they were very popular downloads.

Thank you so much for wishing me luck! The revival introduced me to the original series, so it holds a special place in my heart. I will definitely make the files available for download since you and a couple of other folks have expressed an interest in it. If you get a chance, please stop by. :-)

Hello,
I just started a Dark Shadows Resurrected RPG on Yahoo. There are still a lot of characters available. Let me know if you are interested.

BARNABAS: Julia! You - here - in that flimsy nightgown!

CHRIS: You should've been here last night when I walked in and found her in a bath towel... tweed, no less.

LMAO!! Good one. :-)

Current Talk '05 II / Re: When do you watch / How many?

I can watch 20 episodes durning the weekend, especially if I'm cleaning, folding laundry or writing e-mails. On average week days, I watch 3 to 4 episodes. I'm currently watching the revival series and the 1759 plot line in the original series. Last weekend I threw House of Dark Shadows into the mix. I enjoy seeing the elements that were used for the revival series. I mentally catalogue the variations and the similarities (Dr.Woodard's dialogue seemed oddly familiar and Daphne being terrorized in her car as she attempts to lock it rang a bell). Of course, I'm a huge nerd and I enjoy every minute.

Thanks for the heads up.  :) I really think that Joanna Going is a very talented actress, who should get more recognition for her work.

Calendar Events / Announcements '05 II / Ben Cross on I Love The 80s 3D

I just thought I'd let everyone know that Chariots of Fire, which starred Ben Cross, got a whole bit on I Love The 80s 3D (1981). The film's DVD also got a plug on VH-1's website. Ben Cross played Barnabas Collins on the 1991 revival DS series. If you missed it, that's okay, VH-1 repeats all of the episodes.  :)

Yes, Adam West was charging $40 per autograph.  >:D  Talk about milking the fans dry...I avoided that line. And why was Barbara Eden behind that pink curtain? I have to say that John Landis was very friendly though I must confuse that when I met him I just stood there like a grinning idiot because I was awestruck. How embarrassing.
