Happy belated birthday Mr. Juggins! [coolb]

Thanks Midnite, rainingwolf, Prof Stokes, Josette and CyrusL for the happy birthday wishes.  I'm just now having some time off after working the busy holiday weekend. I will unwind later today by watching some of my DS tapes. [hall2_cool]

There is a mention of Alexandra Isles' documentary in Liz Smith's column of June 23rd. It's a little more than halfway down.

Aunt Katherine could have been played by an eccentric character actress like Estelle Winwood. Alexandra Moltke could have played Betty Hanscomb, giving her another role to play as she wanted. She could have been aged with make-up. 8)

I think she looks good in that photo. I found her rather unattractive when she was on Dark Shadows. She was miscast as Vicky but I'm glad she went on to a  long and fulfilling career. I liked (from what I read in the interview) her views on classic dressing. 8)

Current Talk '06 I / Re: How does a DS fan know when they're too old....

You know you're old when you see things depicted on DS that are mostly obsolete (such as phone booths and coffee percolaters) but you can clearly remember them. 8)

Seaview (which might have been Vicky and Burke's if things had turned out different). Why did Caleb Collins stipulate in his will that no one could live there for 100 years after his death? A house of mystery and secrets would fascinate me as a place to live. [spidr]

Thanks for the birthday wishes! I have to go to work in a bit so I can't avoid the crowds. I work in retail so it's going to crazy today. 8)

My picks were Josette (normal) and Barnabas. Also facinating and mysterious to me is the portrait of Betty Hanscomb because of the resemblance to Vicky. 8)
