:)  He must have "something" but I don't know what that could be......?  I don't think Jeff/Peter knows who he wants or what he wants... ;D

:)  Hm....?  Josette's the sweet girl but....I don't think they would last too long.  It would've been nice to see the actual romance develop & mature.  Barnabas' obsession.   She seemed to adore him.

Maggie is just a reminder of the past for Barnabas.  A good woman.  It's like being with somebody that reminds you of somebody else.  Not good.

Angelique truly loved him into some obsessive behavior at any cost.  A dangerous relationship.  He did love her & admitted it once.

Julia is the dedicated friend with an enormous crush on Barnabas.  Unrequitted love but good friends.  Better leave it as friends?  Friends is always a good place to start.

Tough question & my answer is.....Julia.  Maybe it's tough to picture a romance but Julia has proven herself.  She's there for Barnabas no matter what the cost. :)

;D  Sh.h.h....my secret.  I was usually grounded for some infraction either in school or home but I was barred from the tv in the living room & snuck into a bedroom to watch it.   If I was ever caught - I turned off the tv & crawled under the bed.  Ah...those were the days! ;D ;D

Angelique always got rid of the competition concerning Barnabas' loves.   He did look a bit "sickly" then.  Probably thinking - "what did I do?!"   :)

:)  My vote goes to Barnabas & Angelique in Martinique.  For a woman to be that scorned....what really happened back then.

Also, Victoria's parentage.  Suspicion towards Liz but who was the father?  The entire story.

:)

I guess it would have to be Angelique, since she thwarted both Nicholas and Judah Zachary (in 1640). By "Survivor" standards, she won the game.

I agree.  Angelique survived many times even if her strategy was ruled by emotions & obsession.   Everytime you thought - "goodbye"  she'd come back again.

Nicholas was ruled through his infatutation with Maggie.  He messed up a few times too.  For being Angelique's superior...?

Judah Zachary - pure evil as "the head" & was a bit scary even through Gerard Styles.  He messed up too.
The human factor is represented throughout all the characters through those emotions.

Once again - the "women" reign supreme.

Well if she was buried in that outfit I would guess she was a lady of the evening.  Maybe she was the Collinsport Madam.

Tanis

:)  The high price madam by her diction.

I think "emotions" makes the character more interesting.    How Barnabas regretted being this evil vampire.  That loved/obsession ruled Angelique.  That love from Josette transcended through time & the grave.   ;D

;D

Jeff Clark is the most irritating character & I think the Dell dude is kinda funny.

My vote for annoyance goes to Jeff Clark.  The real DUDE. ;D

I tell you, Roger looked so sad and alone in that big, king-sized bed of his.  (They should have been playing Martha and the Motels' song, "Only the Lonely Can Play.") I don't think that he would be dreaming about Vicky's upcoming wedding.  No!  Roger would be dreaming of some of the sweet nothings that Eve (if she only knew him) would say to Roger;sweet nothings, such as: "Roger, you were born to share my bed!"

:)  Poor Roger...can't find a decent woman.  A phoenix & a witch....what choices. ;D

Willie really needs to find another boss.  He gets used & abused by Barnabas. :)

:)  This time around I would say I've added to my list....Mr. Astredo.  The overtures of hand gestures still is a bit much but he really plays an evil Nicholas to the hilt. ;D
