Hi Raineypark,

I thought the test results were fairly accurate except for this:

Try jumping into the sack and holding buttocks, instead. You could probably use some love.
   ;D

which I do already.

A lot of times test results depend on your mood that day although answers to some questions would be the same no matter what.   :)

I am a

JUDGE
(Dominant Introvert Concrete Thinker )

Like just 3% of the population you are a JUDGE (DICT). Your affinity for facts and analytical approach to life help you some complex problems and make tough decisions that others cannot. But don't think you don't act like a bitch a lot of the time. You jump into arguments and hold grudges like crazy. Try jumping into the sack and holding buttocks, instead. You could probably use some love.

While some may see you as a bit overbearing and arrogant, your friends know that you are a trustworthy person with depth and a strong sense of righteousness. Although you are introverted and somewhat reserved, you have a forceful personality that your friends appreciate and your enemies fear. God help them. God help all of us.

It's one thing to realize Big Brother has already arrived and then be able to "forget" and go about my normal business.  It's quite another to have it pushed in my face every time I see MB's sig.

If I take a hiatus from this board it's because I prefer to be in a state of denial about Big Brother 99% of the time.

Well, if the sig really does bother you, you might want to consider taking a hiatus from the Internet entirely because the info that it displays is readily available to every Web site. ;)

Well, that's what I mean.  I realize it's readily available to everyone but the other sites don't remind me of it by showing me the information every time I'm there.  I prefer to live in denial of the fact that anyone can find my IP address, follow me around the Internet and block sites from me, track my purchases and so on.  So this bit of reality is totally interfering with my delusions of well being.   :o

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this post so I'm just taking a guess here.

and btw, what your sig is doing is kinda creeping me out.

And that's exactly what it's designed to do

It's really creeping me out too if that information flashing back at me is correct.

Then he sees her!!  The whole idea that she should be spared just because she's beautiful really gets me.  If she happened to be just ordinary looking, or, actually ugly, bye-bye Roxanne!!  Oh, there are so many ugly things in this world, how can I destroy something this beautiful?!!!  Is that supposed to make him sound good?  The whole situation infuriates me.

I always found that maddening too not only for that reason but also because Barnabas suddenly forgets his purpose so that he can pursue the beauty.  He did it in 1897, too, and almost screwed up the plan concocted by Angelique, Julia and himself just so he could be close with Lady Kitty.

Yeesh.   ::)

What a wonderful man he was!  How lucky we are to have had him for 100 years.  I heard a song dedicated to Bob Hope around noon.  I wish I knew the title because I found it very sweet, very moving.  Some of the verses were about the footprints outside Grauman's Chinese Theater and a lot of stars were named -- Greta Garbo, Rudolph Valentino, Bette Davis, Mickey Rooney -- not all had passed.

Thanks for the memories, Bob Hope.

I like this idea, but how do you account for
the presence of parallel time in 1840?  Quentin, Daphne, Joanna, Gabriel, Desmond, and Leticia are all witnesses to the phenomenon some 115 years before Angelique moves into Collinwood, and Lamar crosses over well before Barnabas or Julia.

Maybe 1970PT and 1841PT aren't the same worlds ... ?  And maybe in 1841PT it's easier for each world to cross back and forth.  It would have been fun to see both worlds crossing back and forth.
Darren,

I just wanted to thank you for all the hard work and time you've invested in getting the DS movies restored & released again.

And to Warners:

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!   :( >:( :'(

It also seems odd that PT people do not stumble into RT.  I can just see Hoffman in the kitchen washing dishes when Mrs. Johnson ask her what she is doing.  Hoffman looks at Mrs. Johnson and says who the heck are you?  It seems that only RT people can move back and forth and PT people are stuck in their own time band. ???

I often wondered about that myself, that people in all the alternate universes should be able to travel.  Diana Gabaldon, who's written romance/adventure/time travel books, handled the problem of large numbers of people travelling around by having it dependent on a having a certain gene.

I think it would have been a riot if people from all sides could cross over back and forth.

The writers may have been under too much pressure to think of it.

If I remember correctly I don't think women were taken seriously even in 1970.  I remember people scoffing at the Women's Movement, focusing particularly on the women burning their bras.  I don't know if the fans wrote to TPTB.  I have a feeling Dan Curtis wouldn't care anyway.

Thanks for the heads up David  :)

I read that Up the Sandbox didn't do too well when it came out.  I thought it was hilarious.  I had three young kids when I first saw it so I could relate to Barbra Streisand's fantasies.  And David Selby was really good, too, could have used him in every single scene  ;) but you can't always have what you want.  Loved the merry-go-round at the end.

Yes, thank God for good friends!  When I had to drive (and sometimes there was no getting out of it) I would stay off the highways and beltways and I would use back roads too. And had to have someone else drive over bridges.  It's helpful when other people understand.  Not everyone does.   It's also helpful to be able to talk when you need to. :)

I'm sorry that you're feeling sad and lonely too.  I'll sit on the other side of Annie after I make more coffee and keep you company also.

I have panic attack disorder so I can hear you about travelling -- I get them driving.
