Actually, I thought Angelique was better known as Dark Shadows ' "pin-up" gal. ::)

Sorry guys about the terrible joke but I could not resist...

Vlad, we exchanged a few words but did not formally meet. Hope you do get to the Fest this year-I got an even better idea for a costume!

Angelique playedTrask for the quack/charlatan that he was. That interrogation was a crock. Trask coming from Salem could have at least done some homework.

Check out Robin V's Corner Robservations on the home page of this site. She gives a full detail of every episode.  :D

It is my understanding that the "seconds" load the pistols.   Did DC load the guns?

Seeing as how Barnabas is more about exteriors anyway (he didn't care a fig for what Vicki or Maggie were like as people and if he was satisfied with Maggie's performance as "Josette" than God knows, he doesn't expect much), what if Angelique had switched bodies with her mistress or done some sort of illusion spell?  It would have worked as well as anything, perhaps better.

::) ;D ;D :D :)
Great idea! But it still would not be getting him on her terms-remember no magic powers allowed here...

Think positive Vlad. Do hope you are able to go. I remember you since we both were involved with the Costume Gala last year. Remember that character in black with those chains ::)

Luciaphil, those words were a shocker. Next you will be running for President of the Angelique Fan Club-just teasing ;)

What really is remarkable about the duel is that there was no visible blood shed. This seemed to be the usual pattern of none or very little in the TV Series. Maybe some blood would show up on the vampire marks or after the werewolf had a night on the town. Once it graduated to the big screen(movies) in HODS it was the opposite extreme-a gory blood bath!

It is a nice way to end your time at the Festival.es, I would recommend .if you have the spare change.   At the 2000 one,  Nancey Barrett performed and last year highlights from the William Paley Festival were shown..

You should read Lara Parker's book titled ANGELIQUE'S DESCENT. It covers the background of her character and that Martinique scene.
