The May/September thing is one thing but I truly can't buy that he looks at her and loves her.  At least with the other woman their was sex appeal/chemistry with Angelique.  The story lead us into his love for Josette.  Even Barnabas and Vicki had a lead in she was quiet a bit old fashion you could understand how he came to have feeling for her.  Roxanne, no history, just looks at her and it is love.  Roxanne is from the looks of her very mod, he knows nothing of her personality.  He should know that counter parts from P.T. can be very different.  Sloppy writing and planning.

Glad to see you posting again, have missed your wit.  Now I have to committ on the kids hanging out in the playroom.  My house right this minute is filled with l4 and l5 year olds.  I have seen them do some strange things.  Hanging around a playroom would not be that unusal.  Playing with the toys would be another story.  You have to remember that David and Hallie have just about nothing to do.  They don't play sports or heaven forbid get to watch TV.  At this age they go from acting like children years younger to young adults in the throngs of hormones.  Got to go and check on the gang.

Sorry Bob, I wasn't able to get on the computer till now and miss the chance to meet you. Thinking the chances of being able to catch you guys on Monday had been impossible I ended up working my tail off in the yard.  I would have loved to have been able to meet you guys.  Thank you so much for including me.  Have a fabulous time.

I wish I could hook up with the group going to Newport on the 25th, but once again work is interfering with my life!  Sunday could have worked, our Cape plans fell through.  Labor Day might be tough too, the daughter is going back to school that day.  The hub, is taking her don't know if I will be able to escape.  Oh well, have a blast!

Bob,
I think we might be on the Cape that weekend, if my husband ever gets his act together and make the necessary phone calls.  But if that falls though going to Newport is never hard for me.  I have family who live in the area.  Save a piece of pizza for me, or at least a toast at the Black Pearl.   Have a wonderful time.

This is one thing that bugs me about PT 1970, I hate the fact that they made so many of the major charactors take a early dirt nap.  MPO is it takes away from the story.

It is very strange but of late I have noticed that wonderful eye blinding green being worn once again.  It seemed like every women on DS had the pleasure of wearing it at one time or another.  Last week at work I saw two women wearing suits in that "delightful" shade.  Than on the news another woman wearing it.  It is rather scary.

Birdie who will stick to her usual colors

Just thought I would ask the guestion who are the lucky ones going to the fest this year in Brooklyn, NY?

Anyone going to R.I. on the bus trip on Monday? I can't go to the fest, but there is a slim chance than I might be able to be in Newport on that Monday.

I remember being at the fest in 2001 and never meeting another person from this forum.  The monday following the fest I happened to be in Newport with family and yet miss more of the forum who were also in Newport.  I was at the Breakers while they were working the grounds of Seaview, Collinwood.  Also we were going to stop by the Black Pearl but had to by pass it that time.  Another place our gang happen to visit.

Strange, isn't it.
