I think you should make a book out of these storyboards.

I think it is a little of both.  Maybe Quentin doesn't think there is anything wrong with using Jamison to steal a will or participate in dark magic.  Even though the boy protests he never flat out refuses and so Quentin may see his nephew as a willing co-conspirator.  Unfortunately, the bond between Quentin and Jamison is dysfunctional too because of the way Quentin manipulates the boy.

I think Quentin meant Barnabas when he told Edward someone else had been to visit Grandmama.

I almost thought Edward would shake Grandmama in his frustration to get the secret out of her.

I have been looking at the facial structure and I believe that is Terry Crawford.

This is for onyx treasure.  I don't believe the secret came up at all during the 1840 storyline.

The time travel paradoxes are too much for me to try and comprehend so I just assume that the inconsistences are caused by parallel worlds occurying every single time there is time travel and back.

So ... for me, the secret doesn't come in 1840 because of all the changes in 1795 (or 1797 as they sometimes say) and 1895 travels back.

OR ... Daniel maybe told Samantha since Quentin was lost at sea and Edith overheard and kept it to herself.  OR Daniel told Edith because Gabriel was too "sick" and Quentin was lost at sea.  Edith didn't bring it up once Barnabas showed up because she would prefer that the whole family be wiped out anyway...except for her and her children.

Well that was fun.

Grandmama looks and acts like an old dear but there is something very odd about the way she interacts with the family.

Today her grandson chokes and threatens her but when Judith comes in and interrupts, Grandmama does not tell on Quentin.

That's odd, isn't it?  Maybe she is trying to protect Quentin but why?

She treats Judith like a servant.  She treats Edward like some kind of king.

No wonder they squabble with and hold grudges against each other.

Today he said, "Grandmama-mama."

I hadn't noticed it before but read the posts about the blooper.  It didn't sound so obviously a slip.

Thank you for sharing one more chapter before you leave.

The story becomes more and more chilling, a nail biter for me.  You have captured Petofi's evil so very well.

I am looking forward to 18

I think the actress who played Carrie/Hallie wore bows too.

Your Count Petofi is every bit as evil and frightening as on television.  I am enjoying this story very much.

I have to say that no matter how many times I've seen this episode I've always gotten goosebumps listening to Quentin's theme play all through Collinwood's abandoned rooms.  And to end it with Quentin at the top of the stairs surveying all that is his and laughing that evil laugh tops it all.

I agree with everyone who has applauded the performances of Thayer David, David Henesy, Denise Nickerson and David Selby.  They made the storyline seem real.

Mrs. Johnson

I agree with the other posters and one other reason--Mrs. Johnson is a housekeeper.  They are like secretaries in that they know everything going on although they don't necessarily say so.  They know all the important details and without them, it (the house, the company) doesn't run.

It sounds 'too good to be true'.  How does one get a call from the ghost of Quentin Collins?

Thank you Mark.

I've been reading Labyrinth of Souls and enjoying it very much.  I'm looking forward to reading Ch. 15

Sometimes I wonder if different writers wrote in a vacuum.

I heard or read that different people wrote the scripts sometimes and I guess they didn't make notes to keep everyone consistent.

It is jarring, these scenes of amnesia.
