Quote from: ProfStokes[/color]Even if I had the money to travel to New York for the second time in a row, nothing could induce me to stay at the Westchester Marriott again.
Me, neither! I am also in California, and it angers me to find the DS Fest will be in New York, again! If I decide to go, I plan to fly into Westchester County Airport (HPN) in White Plains, rent a car, and stay at a cheaper hotel nearby. I hope Jonathan Frid will be the "special guest" - I never met him before, and it might be worth it to go there again if I can see him.

Y is for yarn - a colloquial term for a story or tale. Dark Shadows certainly was one of those - or should I say many!

Z is for zygote - what happens when an egg is fertilized - the stage before embyro. Catherine and Bramwell's baby went through this stage before Catherine even knew she was pregnant.

I also say, "Hurray! Dr. Julia Hoffman has arrived!" Indeed, the story will get a lot more interesting pretty soon! I agree, KLS was the star today! Her performance was heartwretching. That was pretty cold of Julia to allow Sam and Joe to visit Maggie, but I understand their wanting to see her. That scene with Maggie singing, "Take the key and lock her up." - over and over again and looking out the screen-covered window was very memorable. In retrospect, it probably would have been better for Sam and Joe to observe Maggie from afar, but that wouldn't have been very good drama now, would it? Great episode.

One thing I noticed that really bugged me was Vicki's hairdo. It was weird! It was distracting. It was becoming to her, but strange.
Both Willie and Barnabas seemed to regret Maggie's "death". I think this was when Barnabas's character may have started to be more sympathetic to us viewers.

Q is for quay (pronounced kee) - a wharf; dock. It could refer to the Collins shipyard and/or the docks where Barnabas found lots of his victims who were "ladies of the night".

Excellent episode! Barnabas did seem to have had a change of heart, didn't he? He was so menacing when he was chasing Maggie; but then he let Maggie and Sam go, when he easily could have killed them. It was heartwarming to see Sam reunited with Maggie.
Indeed, Dr. Woodard's suggestion to pretend that Maggie was dead was illegal, but I'm glad they went through with it. Just in the nick of time, too, because Barnabas showed up. I agree that it would seem suspicious to Dr. Woodard, Barnabas showing up at the hospital so late - at 3:30 AM.
Poor Maggie was traumatized so much, she reverted back to her childhood. I felt sorry for Joe when Maggie didn't recognize him. Julia Hoffmann will be making her first appearance soon! Hooray!
