Awwww, how cute were Adam and Carolyn today? I wanted to kill that scum Harry for telling Adam Carolyn didn't want to come and see him....   lol and then he pulled a knife on my precious Adam!!!   Good thing Carolyn came in or Adam would have killed *him*! HAHAHAHAHAHA *evil Angelique laugh* But Adam and Carolyn are sooo cute. I was watching DS this morning with my whole family [always a big mistake] and my mom's like "Why doesn't she like him?" And I go, "Cuz she's a snobby, oldfashioned, aristocratic stuck-up closeminded snot, and he's a monster." I adore Adam, he's soo cute! I was wondering when exactly he was going to finally kiss her...but then, you never see anyone kissing on DS nemore   so I guess it's good he found that picture book, right? But aren't they adorable!? *has "awww"ing fit* I think Adam's hott, minus the scars on his face.....   But then......what happened to Tony??  ?!?

You're right.  Take a look at tv shows from that era: doctors were always prescribing sedatives -- a reflection of the times.

But at least in the 60s/70s, people weren't afraid to show their emotions or let them out. Now everyone just holds everything inside and represses it, which is most probably more harmful [in the long run] than taking a couple [dozen, in Julia's case lol] sedatives to calm yourself down, because at least then you get the emotions out. Holding everything inside is like shaking a can of root beer....eventually it will explode, and when it does........
